not sure where the op got those prices from, becuse I am realy sure they are way more expencive on the server I am on, not super expencive but way more than like 30s that he says, and I can imagine price on totaly dead servers hehe.
If someone lacks 1 or 2 enchants, thatâs no biggy because most people donât raid like Method and Iâm quite sure that if your gear is good enough to defeat the boss, enchant is irrelevant. Skill is relevant.

Since this a post tailored for self appreciation allow me to share a story that happened yesterday. Tanking with my humble alt 430 a HM pug, Iâm co-tanking with this big boy fellow overgeared af that pulls the entire room to make a point. And carefully reminds me before the boss âI TAUNT FIRST YOâ my only answer is âsureâ.
Then the boss starts, I donât bloody taunt it but you can bet Iâm about to end this man whole career. Prepot > CoF x 2 > Cyclotronic Blast = I turn the boss in my general direction in less than 10 seconds. Mission accomplished, /cast risitasmeme.

Honestly i agree that no gold is not a good reason due to cheap enchants, and for the same reason the not BiS is not either. I understand not going for the best enchant on a ring that is not close to bis, but you can at least do a small one.
I however will have to confess that i donât have enchants on all my character, and itâs for the simple reason that i forget. I run weekly keys on 11 different characters, and the 6 of them that run weekly +15 i have full enchants on, donât worry, but the ones that i just chill a weekly +10-+12 on, i do forget.
My wednesday is very packed, so i get home from university, i just get to open my chests, and then i have to go. I just see if itâs an upgrade real quick and then equip it if it is, and then when i get home i have forgotten that i got an item i needed to enchant on my 10th alt or something.
At the start of the season i buy a bunch of enchants just to have them ready, but they have run out, so now i just do like once a month i look through all my characters, sim them and fully optimize gems and enchants for them.
So yea, not really any good excuse to not have enchants, itâs just that i forget.
But again itâs also kind of like with food and flask. If itâs a low key, like 10-13, then cba buying a 300-500 gold flask, when we can easily smash it without.

These days I never do anything higher than LFR and LFD, but I still gem and enchant my gear. Some crappy gem or cheap enchant at least, I have the professions so itâs no cost.
Suppose itâs my way since the old âgloryâ days when going into a group without it was quite shamefulâŠ

also i played holy priest main healer in our raid group, i tried to enchant/socket everything every month - but still, how to say it - i didnt see fault in my healing but in their uselessnes in avoiding stuff - cannot heal insta killing - also reason why i didnt eat food until i saw that people finally learned tactic and we are finally progressing
I do it on purpose just to give obsessive tryhards a thrombo.

Modern version of so called sockets and enchants are a joke. They mean nothing. Game should have 3 sockets in every max level item and 2 different enchants. And Reforging.
Farming 10-12âs does not require any consumables or enchants. That just costs gold.

When i save money i run with Siphon ( Leech enchant ) on wep cuz its like 2 silver & 30 stat enchants cuz they like 50 silver
I know siphon doesnt help much as dps, but it does SOMETHING atleast lol
My experience with guys without gems and enchants is that the run will fail hard so i leave when i se someone without it.
