Your “experience” on this char is five runs this season. All in UR, all below 10. Don’t want to be that guy but you don’t seem to have any experience at all, unless you have another real char ofc, which would add a bit of credence to your experience claim.
Done underrot every week on my paladin also for the mount, i know all in there trust me 
I do decent numbers, just my friends do more.

Well flask, proper enchants, gems in your gemslot, food buff is quite alot of dps. But you are right it wont save you from people who cant be bothered do move out of stuff.
I just run a sim of my 442 char. 36.539 DPS without flask, 37.167 DPS with, asuming you can also do this dps since this is patchwork without mechanics. It is min maxing. And since this is low content we do not have to talk about it. Someone 440 ilvl doing 10k does not benefit from a flask. “quite alot of dps” means someone is also using those aditional numbers.
I do 10k more dps than you on patchwerk sim but thats not the point. Remove your weapon/rings enchants, remove your gems and you will see even more difference.
But ultimately yeah dont matter If someone puts up 10k or 15k in a 10+ since they gonna need to be carried either way. However its sloppy and annoying seeing them dont do these easy improvements expected to be carried.
You do not need everyone do 40k+ in a 10 though.
The thing is that when someone is able to do 35k (or 10k more like you) with their char but are actually doing 10k, the flask and enchants are also not providing much since that player is not using those extra numbers. So they do not jump from 10 to 15 by just flasks enchants.

Did I write that? My point is even if you suck/and or are badly geared atleast enchant the damn gear. I bet most the people whining about rio cant be bothered with these things and then wonder why the hell no one wants to group up with them.
Well true if you sim 45k on patchwerk and can only deliver 10k dps inside a dung you are indeed a lost cause and no amounts of enchants or flasks are going to help.
Whats your point though? If you are bad dont bother with improving the easy things? Get carried instead by some people that can be bothered to do stuff right?
This is the problem with having so much content that just hands out free gear. We got a big chunk of the playerbase thinking its enough just to show up to get free gear.
My point is that you do not have to look at enchants for 10’s. They are not needed. They have 0 influence you time the +10. Which was the question of the topic.
