Because people don’t do that? Besides, they should already have those macros done by the time they join a dungeon anyways if they’re going to ask for bops in a necrotic week. Not start doing them in the dungeon.

I purposely avoid telling people what country I’m from in pugs because If I say I’m from Sweden, other Swedes just start speaking Swedish with me instead of using English. If I see someone with a Swedish char name I don’t even invite them to the group.

No, I got what he was saying. It was just wrong. Getting pissed at visions doesn’t mean you can’t finish the run. I can finish a run without using orb but if I get too pissed at the run I’ll just quit it, not going to do something that pisses me off.
It’s like me being about to just destroy someone in hearthstone and they just start roping every turn. That pisses me off to the point I often leave instead of sitting there and getting more pissed off, even if I’ll win in the end. It’s not worth it. Same in Overwatch, I’ll leave even if we’ll win.
You keep talking about not wanting to hold their hands when playing, but you have someone holding your hand all the time.
Addons.
They tell you when a boss is going to perform an action, when you’re standing in something, the very definition of hand holding.
So climb down off your Elitist perch & stop being so arrogant.
You still have to play properly even if you have addons. An addon can’t hold your hand. The only thing the addons are useful for is tracking CDs or for general aesthetics, like elvui instead of the original ui. I don’t have anything telling me I’m standing in something either. My details does announce what people die from though instead of having to sift through the combat log.
Even if I turned off all addons, I’d still perform the same as I do with them. The only difference is I’d have to keep track of CDs in my head instead of having it on screen and I’d be pissed at how ugly the original UI is.
edit: I used to have something telling me if I’m standing in something as part of an addon pack I downloaded but I turned it off because I got ringing in my ears every time it was like “HEY, MOVE” even though I was already moving before it started making noise. Pointless and just hurt my ears. Even more so when the tank decides to drop sanguine all over the passage and you have to run through it and the addon went WEWAEWEWEWAE YOU’RE STANDING IN SANGUINE. Oh, really? Think I don’t see the sanguine? Stupid addon. Worst kind of addons that exist.
It is very possible you do a lot of other stuff wrong and your group is not leaving for it. They are just playing the dungeons saying to themselves “omg this healer”, and they stay. You are probably playing on your level where everyone is making mistakes. But you are the one leaving for it. Step up your own game!

I say they can do 7 or 8. That’s mostly fine.
Then what they do is they get the stacks to 5, renew to 6, then renew to 7 and we wipe. “I thought you could do 8”. Yeah, if you kill everything at the same time? Not when you keep renewing bursting. It’s like they don’t even understand bursting.
Bruh, you give Mangle as example. If I want to put the cancelaura in all my offensive abilities as Guardian then I need 4 more Macro slots.
It makes NO sense to put cancelaura BoP with all your offensive abilities just to please non-communicating Paladins.
It even happened in the 17 atal did yesterday, and we wiped. And timed it.
I leave when people do that. I don’t put up with that.
It makes perfect sense to bind it to all abilities you use regularly if you’re going to ask for bops. I have every ability macro’d on both my paladin and my druid as tanks, for necrotic weeks.
