Why do we get less crests for not timing dungeons

The dude complains about toxicity but is one of the frontrunners of the problem they made a thread about… I highly doubt it :joy:

im not complaining about toxicity…

im complaining that blizzard forces me to partake in behavior that apperently is an issue for alot of people ( number of punish leaver threads )

and yes they do enforce that by their game design, thats just factual.

The only thing blizzard forces you to do is finish a key to get rewards. Finish it in time and you get full reward.
Why would you leave a key, get nothing and join another one to do the exact same thing and complain about it? The problem is obviously with you and your mentality, like Clawcious and Nevermonk already said.

problem seem to be with quite alot of people according to this forum.

i wonder why that might be? are we all just evil demons send from hell to annoy low keys? or might there be a reason?

The problem lies with the leavers, yes. But I’d call even that a mentality problem.
Most of them overestimate their skills and join keys they shouldn’t do which results in them getting frustrated to the point of leaving.
Changing the rewards to eff over players that time their keys won’t help with that

Learn the mechanics of the dungeons, get to know your class for interrupts cc etc and you can time the keys easily.

like it was my own fault some pug low keys gets overtimed.

so why you are angry when people do find out it later during run and leave ?

i mean you openly admit that you try to trick them so why shoudl they stay and carry you ?

I think it is not reasonable to leave over some crests. I also think it can be reasonable when you expect to time a key, and you wipe 3 times on the first pull that people leave.

The person just doesn’t understand, that not everyone is in the key for crests… So seeing it wont be timeable doesn’t mean they will stay for mere 7 extra crests…

It’s a pointless discussion, because it fixes nothing. Once the crests have been given, soon a “Why do we have to farm crests at a lower level than I am obviously overqualifed for?? Give me full crests for completing higher levels!!” it’s a lose lose

They do not have a choice if people do not join those listed as completion runs. At least this is what Annaconda seems to say

I was saying that by marking your group as “completion”, you’re implying your group is weak and therefore won’t meet the timer. So the concern of potential applicants shifts from not timing the dungeon to not completing it at all. Which is a very realistic outcome nowadays in high keys.
