It’s a total waste of time. I bet you have more productive things in your life to do than grinding for borrowed powers which need no skill whatsover in order to do the parts of the game that actually need skill for less than 20% of the time you have to spend in it.

When I get older I feel like im weary about investing my time into this game because the future is uncertain with these devs, but it also made me spend more time with my family and friends

Because when I am off work, it’s nice to have something to indulge in for a whilst I rest up. I travel for work and it’s incredibly draining, and when I get home it’s nice to have a little time to myself for a few weeks before I go back to work again.
Do I play too much. Yeh, probably. But am I enjoying it, Yes! If I had something better to be getting on with other than playing, absolutely. I definitely place RL over WoW.

i now only play for pvp, but i was a GM for a mythic raiding guild in legion / bfa
we achieved realm rank 6 at one point during the mythic raid race on the realm
now… i just cba, i play with a friend and we mainly play rated and non rated pvp
its easy … its chill

I play until I’m running out of fun content. My fun content is Legion and BfA questing right now.
I really don’t give a ding for the gear grind at level 60. That’s a clown fiesta.
If you look at it that way, any game we play is a waste of time. No game is really benefiting your life at all, unless you’re a full time streamer or content creator. A lot of us just play for the enjoyment of it, and catching up with friends.
