Because i have fun & i don’t minmax

Professions ftw

Don’t min max, but yet you’ll pop a saltwater and get the beserker buff on your MM to do a crazy one shot?

I’m onto you Grovi :face_with_monocle::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ah such judgement here.
This is what I have learned:
Being “productive” and “wasting time” is all a social convention that in order to be worth something you must contribute to society. Well, you don’t. Let go of this belief. In the end we will die and nothing will mean anything - just do what you want without hurting others.

Im the type that pops burst while someone is running for the beserker buff

Can’t kill me with dmg buff if they spend time going for the buff!

When I was a teenager many years ago now, I remember my dad used to go off on me saying all I did was play games while other kids go out there and experience life and I’m throwing my life away.

I told him that all he does is sit down and watch TV in his spare time, and besides this how many times can one person go and play football or get drunk at the park and say this is living right here.

It’s all about perception, and enjoying the small things in life, this to me is what make life worth living.

If WoW brings you enjoyment in life then it’s not a waste, it brings light to your life.

You legit sound so delusional dude.
And yet here you still are on the WoW forums. How about you take it a step further and tell us how your life turned out? How about you tell us your age? How about you tell us whether you have an actual wife? Why don’t you tell us what you do for a living…?
You just sound like one more addict who has been sitting on World of Warcraft his entire life because it distracts you from how much you failed at life. How come all high rated M+ players that I meet are literally unemployed? Ah I bet that’s just a coincidence, yup, 90% of them are lawyers actually.

Except in very rare cases of course. Some people do leave lasting legacies.
Sure; doesn’t mean anything for THAT person after they die, but meh… ‘greater good’ and all that jazz.

But yeah. Just do what you enjoy. Meaning is what you make it.
If something has meaning to you; it’s meaningful (and thus productive - for you: You’re making your life a better quality). And that’s really how simple it can be.

I mean, ok. Sweet but pyscho :flushed:

FFXIV is filled with ex WoW players who quit WoW through various expansions. Cata, MoP, SL. I dare you to go on FFXIV and ask every single player you see if they played WoW before. They will all tell you which expansion that made them quit. WoW has been dying for a very long time. It didn’t happen overnight. And next expansion is just going to be worse.

It’s pretty relaxing as a casual game to play in tourist mode, I’m doing that on both retail and classic at the moment while I wait for the sun to come out, then I’ll consider going outside for something other than work.

The game is so flawed in so many ways, but that’s what stops me from committing to any sort of long-term play, instead I resub every couple of months to check the weather, so to speak. My previous break was for over 6 months.

If Blizzard made the game better I’d probably stay subbed long term even when not raiding with a guild, but eventually I get tired of the bullcrap and go do something else for 6-12 months. I could be doing something more productive instead of gaming, but I wouldn’t game if I wasn’t enjoying it.

You wasn’t thorough enough.

I play this game for kill other people in pvp.

You understood life gz

Well i’m a gamer.
I tried FFXIV (i buy all expansions and spend 6 months on it) but it’s a very casual game more into mogs and housing.
I tried Lost Ark (i spend 120 hours game time) but after some time progress come only with irl money or it take way too long.
Spend time in Cyberpunk 2077 (finish it) but it’s not for daily grind.

WoW even is that state is way ahead of any other game. If you want a daily grind a game you can play everyday WoW is the only way.

Because its pretty fun an relaxing to smoke funny and play a bit of wow when i got time for it. Simple

there is no platform that is better then WoW for ingame roleplay
if it wasn’t for roleplay I would’ve unsubbed, I avoid nearly all gameplay nowadays

You could say that about so many things though:

-Why do you have a night out?
-Why do you go sightseeing?
-Why do you play guitar?

Just like anything else that is recreational, people generally play WoW because they enjoy it. If you think this is such a waste of time then maybe waste your time on another recreational activity that you actually enjoy.
