Why do you need an active subscription to post on the forums?

Well if you don’t care about paying for a subscription to a game then why would you bother to lurk on its official forum ?

About that …
No
No paye no voice imho

Some never seem to be able to let go, they become like a bitter ex that has to keep coming back to snipe and take potshots.

Im considering getting a laptop, i miss the days i had one when i was young, but i can clearly look on the gaming laptops and know that they are for me or not without even having to try em out

( crap example but it wasn’t like you was trying either tbh )

Oh my sweet summer child. Do you really believe blizzard listens to our opinions?

1 simple want to use forums pay for them.

SO this is not trash talk blog full of XYZ for free now you have to pay for access pretty nice wall to clean it from trash.

How does that work if you can not play ,

Op just say it you are greedy and want to trash talk on forums for free.

I haven’t been subbed for several months yet I can still post… I mean cough Yeah thank god I still have a sub so I can comment and stuff, what a bad system.

Though it does add a simple filter against possible spammers, bots and angry ex wow players who never intend to play again.

Discourse does seem to be very poor at keeping up

I really don’t understand why someone who isn’t subbed would want to remain posting on the forum for this game. WoW has an incredibly large amount of resources (forums, discords, websites, youtube etc) if you really want to catch up on the game if you’re maybe thinking of playing or coming back to the game.

Surely if you’re taking a break or have fully quit you’re going to want to be getting on with other stuff in your life instead.

What an elitist way of thinking… nice to considerate unsubbed people’s opinions as “trash” :slightly_smiling_face:
All opinions should be considered regardless if one is unsubbed or not. Trash talks, if extreme, are meant to be moderated by MODERATORS, heck you even have a flag button to help for it.
I read this forum almost every day since since years (tho I’m not frequently posting) and I like, for instance, to see people expresses their disapprovals towards the game or to understand why they left it… you know… feedbacks ? It’s WoW official forum here.
But better silence those who once spent money for this game, right ? :slightly_smiling_face:

Dont care want to speak sub.

Why would I want to read and post in forums for games I have no interested in, makes no sense.

Ok you half-brained
Peace on you however

Why are you forgetting those, unsubbed, who’d like to share their insights or simply wants to discuss about the game ? Overall, you’d be surprised to know how many people, while not currently playing, still follow games’ actualities

The wow forum is for people who actually play wow, and since you can’t play wow without a sub, there is little reason to post on the forums if you do not have one.

Didn’t you know, he’s an intellectual, albeit one who spends a rather large amount of time on a video game forum. Clearly he’s far more mentally qualified than us peasants with his deeply insightful remarks that cut right to the heart of the matter.

Either that or the internet has begun to gain sentience and is creating accounts to post this horse manure on various forums and websites. Not sure which is worse to be honest with you.

If they wanted to share their insight they should have done it before they quitted when the game was relevant for them.

I don’t feel worthy of his wisdom. He should write a scientific paper on these things and debate it in a more professional setting.

I feel the downfall of such a paper would be the final point, where traditionally you cite your sources (in the case of most students, what other papers you copy/paste/reworded), where as his source would be his paradoxical mind. Paradoxical in the sense of how can something be so vast, and yet carry so little

and you’ve just proved that posters point. If the people who are subbed cannot be civil to each other then why should people who are not subbed and face no sanctions for their incivility?

I know you’ll retort by saying that the post you originally replied to called other people trash but actually if you read the sentence in question it just stated that what they were posting is trash not the person posting it.
