Why do you need an active subscription to post on the forums?

This feedback is actually given. Just compile all those quitting posts together.

The current restriction does indeed keep away gold sellers, but

  • it creates an echo chamber where only those who like the current design (and keep playing / farming) can voice their opinion;
  • it separates communities - you cannot discuss a topic on the US forums nor can they come here.

People are worried about the quality of an open forum, but the Heroes forums aren’t trash either.

This is not an open forum, it’s the forum about the game World of Warcraft, I mean imagine someone chiming into a sport’s club only to announce he has no interest or involvement with said sport

In fact I wish the forum would be hidden to outsiders beyond important blue posts / announcements
