Why does Alliance dominate EU War Mode and still get bonus rewards?

Do they dominate WM? I literally had to log out and go get lunch given the WM I was in it was like 60 horde. 10 alliance and that was just by the world boss alone, let alone the rest of the zone.

Just based on my experience, playing on a Horde dominated server, EVERY shard seems to be dominated by Alliance.

I don’t believe it could be the same other way around.

I can assure you it really is. I have never been in an alliance dominated or even equal shard and my realm group is heavily alliance. I’ve given up WM most of the time because 20 horde vs me isn’t fun.

I love War Mode, but it’s ridiculous seeing allies dominating every shard. WHY are they still rewarded specially for it??

I am an alliance and on my server the Horde dominates the shards.
There comes on an alliance player about 8-10 Hordespieler in warmode.

There are rarely balanced matches (which are fun). Mostly we are raided in our bases by whole raids. Three weeks ago, the 5 40-man raids were in Drustvar.

It’s a shard problem because anyone who gets invited by someone gets drunk on their shard.
Example: At the o.g. Raid in Drusvar there were also players who do not belong to Europe and the Europeans were mixed (French, English, Spanish, Scandinavian, German …)
When various Alliance players wanted to organize themselves as counter-raids, they were tamed to another Shard.

That’s the problem and Blizzard should get that under control.

Quite simple.
1st its the sharding issue: 7/10 shards are horde dominated(my personal guess). So you probs got into the “unlucky” one…if horde.
2nd. These kind of threads are made so often as your daily newspaper lolz and the opinions on it are pretty much always the same…

So having being subbed back to the game for 8.2, and actually enjoying BFA for the first time, I’ve noticed that the vast majority, if not EVERY shard, is dominated by Alliance and yet they’re still getting bonus rewards for it.

Alliance is not dominating war mode, if they were then alliance would not have a 30 percent bonus.

You will find numerous threads complaining of the opposite. So maybe it is the shard you are in or the server you are on. Or maybe you simply cannot kill alliance.

My suggestion is to either form a group or go out in warmode with other players from your guild. Or turn it off if you cannot stand getting killed.

A simple idea would be to remove the Alliance Warmode bonus and instead make it a bonus to which ever faction has the fewer players in the shard or server at that time so it favours which ever faction is currently behind in numbers

Yeah the fact that alliance get a 20% buff over horde is incredibly unfair. On my realm the alliance always dominate. It just doesn’t make sense.

How about just making both sides 30% and maybe both sides will use pvp more overall? I don’t see why one faction should have it exclusively. 10% by itself is pretty small.

30% is quite a bit more fair for the headache WM can be. I don’t think either side should have a bigger buff than the other.

I agree it should be based on realm shards, this would help balance out things.

i’ve not played my alliance in about 2 months, but in the past i always am outnumbered on this horde toonm being alone and swarmed by alliance, and my my alliance toon being alone and swarmed by horde.

the problem is sharding. it is rubbish. complete rubbish but yet again, blizzard is doubling down on something that should not be in the game

You were just unlucky enough you were part of a shard a minority of alliance players actually grouped up which is extremely rare.

8/10 alliance players play with WM off.
