Is it really worth it for them to make the game an endless grind for like 2million people instead of just making a good game so we got 12 million people again ?
its obvious they could make the game better but for whatever reason they just refuse to, they’re not dumb they know the game was 1000x more enjoyable for everyone at wotlk/cata/mop but for some reason they refuse to go back to this design
does anybody know something about economy and can explain me why is it more worth for them to do an endless grind fiesta for few players ? (lets pretend they arent that clueless about what makes wow a good game)
It’s like WoD, WoD had awesome content, Raids were High Quality, Dungeons were amazing, probably one of the best leveling experiences in the game by far!
But it didn’t have much grinds, for example I bet if it had Mythic +, and and good grind it would be really good expansion!
For example Legion had a best AP grind by far in my opinion it was really easy to catch up and artifact weapon passives felt good to unlock!
I preferred the pre endless grind game. Grinds existed but they had ends to them. You’d reach exalted or have done all you could and could move on feeling complete.
That’s what I loved about artifact weapons at the start of Legion, you would just unlock your abilities! But then they kinda screwed it up for me with adding the endless grind to it.
At the start of Legion Artifact Weapon grind that had an end was perfect to me ^^
What would you call a weekly capped grind? Because that’s what will be in Shadowlands, no more endless running around for AP world quests. I know you love to bash retail but you could at least look up the news.
yea but once u pay for a subscription it doesnt matter if u play the game as long as u paid
i think they just fired everyone and dont have anything good to produce anymore so they release content as garbage as their developers and make it time gated so people dont quit instantly
as a pvp player i dont care if the game has nothing to grind i can just queue arena whenever or play a new class
in bfa u dont even have vendors u just do content until u get lucky and get gear i just want to sit durotar and q arena or bg and dont have to do anything else which was the case when i played cata and u had vendors
shadowlands isnt even released yet, and from what i heard u need to grind torghast every week and do dailies just to be able to change convenants lmfao
and as i said the game isnt even released, maybe next big patch is gonna become like 8.2 when u suddently had to farm every essences on every alts nobody knows
I think it’s about balance.
many people seem to want to get through levelling faster. I think mainly alts.
blizzard does a one size fits all style so the first time you play through the questing, you are getting the same experience as those people who level multiple alts want. i.e. quick and over very soon.
I think this is a massive mistake. I really miss the old levelling/questing pace. these days I feel like I’ve left an area before i’ve really truly arrived.
It would certainly be better if there was more downtime between fights like there used to be. time to eat. time to cook. time to fish. ( because these things had a logical follow-on. )
My point is, people level to max so quickly, that blizz need to make more grind-y content at ‘endgame’ because people get to ‘endgame’ so quick.
I really wish they would slow the pace down. let me spend longer levelling my character.
instead of completing the questing zones of the expansion in a couple months, let them last me twice as long. There is so much content in here, it’s such a shame it goes by so quickly.
I’m intimately familiar with teldrassil, eversong woods, etc. I have hardly any clue about the zones in BfA.
“Blizzard needs to improve”
Blizzard improves
“Yeah but… nah, I’m going to focus on the bad product I hate and not the better improved product that you’re about to come out with”.
lmao it’s almost as if you’re not supposed to change covenants! and you also heard wrong about grinding dailies and grinding Torghast.
I was just clowning on you, I honestly thought you were inactive on this Shaman… you’ll get to that precious end game some day.
i think youre too optimistic regarding shadowlands bro, bfa s1 gearing in arena was ok from what i heard but look what 8.2 and 8.3 turned the game into… why wouldnt they do the same thing to shadowlands?
