We get it, you prefer classic. Thats completely fine, however calling everyone shills when retail has objectively better graphics and thats all that is being pointed out, does nothing more than make you a classic shill.

Classic looks better than most 20 year old games,but retail is far superior. Some of the old sets are really hideous to look at.

The combination of rose-tinted glasses and overgrown brows has given Spockle a very unrealistic perspective.
They;ll never know the joys of making a cup of tea waiting for the dial up to finish it’s thing so you could actually play the damn game.
It took me even further back to sitting waiting on a cassette loading on my AMSTRAD CPC464. With a colour screen!

Loading chuckle egg on my Sinclair spectrum 48k was peak.
Kids these days don’t know how lucky they are.
We had to spend 20+ minutes loading the game, if the tape didn’t load the game properly guess what? You’re resetting the system and starting again.
All while you listen to a horrible wall of noise for another 20 minutes +

Og wow was in 1040 screen res lol, the classic your reffering to os the current one and it still does not look better.
Classic still uses the old models for littersly everything from floors to the sky.
Your thinking it looks better purely bc your not used to it. If you put any of the models side by side you will see huge impovements in favour of retail.
Just before legion blizz finslised all model updates across the board the biggest differences ofc are the charactersvand npc.
Ehen they were being introed you had to have a certain lvl of power in your machine to even display them, the ui had the option to toggle between the new and old chara models so i can assure you 10000000% its in your head
That being said you could just prefer the old models more its a personal thing.
In the middle of a Netflix and chill and he gives you this look….

I personally prefer classic graphics to current WoW. I find it more ‘moody’ where as now it looks too cartoony and cheery.

Hey look my post got flagged by the sensitive retail maffia as standard. I do prefer classic but the difference between me and the retail community is that i have criticism against classic too and i can handle reading posts about it without the need to flag it.

Most, if not all, retail players have criticism about retail as well, have you even looked at the forums other than this thread?
The point youre trying to make is that you arent shilling for classic while we are for retail, and thats simply false.
If you like Classic more, that is completely fine, im happy for you. But dont go around calling others shills when you are out here defending classic, thats all im saying.

Do you really think my post was just about this thread? It was my experience overall on the retail forums. That the few ppl that are against something in retail usually gets shut down. Its not just this post

Opinions always differ. If i make a post about my dislike of the retail crafting system, people are going to be against that, while others agree. At the same time some will make threads about something else they dont like, which happens to be something i do enjoy, meaning i will defend said thing by stating my opinion.
And the same goes for classic.
Ye but i never see the hivemind flagging something on Classic forums when they dislike something as i do on retail forums. thats my experience.

Oh for sure, i will give you that one. I hate the mass flagging when people dont agree with something with a passion and i am a strong advocate of banning for false flagging.
That’s because Classic players come to the retail forums to spread their opinions a lot more - which more often than not includes bashing Retail in some way, shape or form or at the very least claiming Classic is better than Retail. And people here on the retail forums have grown sick of that happening.
The opposite - retail players going to the classic forums to do such a thing - doesn’t happen nearly as much. I’d even say it’s quite rare.

And yet even then, massflagging for non ToS breaking posts is ridiculous and should be taken harsh action against.
I agree that that is misusing the feature.
However, I don’t agree with ‘harsh action’ in general.
More so because sometimes a player flags for a reason you simply might not agree with, but is still valid in their mind. In such a case a flag might be unjustified, but it wasn’t done with malicious intent.
