I don’t get it, you can do a pretty quick run by doing the upper part, the loot is good, and the setting is cool.
Is there some unspoken hatred about it?

Probably because it takes ages and it falls within the same bracket as early BRD, which is faster and probably drops better gear. People rather do 5 arena/angerforge runs than 1 ST run in the same time.

Oh boy, I think I’ve spent two days searching before I finally got a group there. But alas not efficient so people don’t want to go.
Ive been doing lots of runs and have no trouble finding group.
I like ST too. Gives good loot, nice dg (better than BRD imo), more fun.
When the lvl 50 class quests come out people might want to go there since some classes get really good items from those quests, such as warrior or rogue.
I did it a fair bit at level 49 but any higher than that it’s much more convenient to go to BRD and when the whole squad is 49-50 Eranikus is kind of a nightmare.
Because no one cares about having fun, or doing “something else”.
Everyone only cares about the numbers like every good businessman.

I agree with this opinion. It seems that most players these days don’t appreciate anything but fast farming of loot and XP. If it takes few more minutes to travel to the dungeon, or if the dungeon is not dumb linear corridor with all the points of interest directly on the path, then immediately it becomes less attractive.
People came to play classic WoW, but their mindset remains as in retail where you get ported to dungeons right from city. And these are the same players who are fond of all kind of MOBA games with max 15 minutes sessions - if it takes bit longer, then it’s not good enough for them.
It is strange to me that so many people still go to BRD - that dungeon is not small either, but most of them don’t do all the dungeon, just farm a small section. I miss that feeling of adventure that I had going into dungeon for full run, with characters of proper level who actually needed the drops - not outleveled outgeared groups farming barely green mobs and refusing characters of proper level with “you are too low”.

I steamrolled there a lot, even as a 2h tank! Haha, had fast runs.
No idea, when i was level 50 i ran ST quite a lot.
Just as a bridge to be eligible for BRD.
Clear balconies, clear inner circle, reset.
I’m guessing a lot of players just haven’t gone there yet, don’t have the fp and can’t be arsed to run over there.
