Im sure most people would love to unlock them, and whats the harm of releasing like a 4 year old set?
I can understand challenge mode, but pvp rating isn’t an expansion feature, and you can’t say those pvp players worked hard and should be special and whatnot whereas people easily get old mythic transmog. Moreover, mythic transmog acquosition is much more relevant to the time period it came from, whereas all those elite sets are all acquired the same way, hugging those nagrand arena pillars and whatnot.
Players who didn’t play in Legion can get mythic sets but can’t get the pvp elite ones, what gives?
The pvp isnt an expansion feature no, but the mog is a “feature” / “collection” from that expansion, its a feat of strength arguably if you will. Its a way to define players from others, I don’t think I would play this game to be fair if a bunch of nobodies with 0 experience of any kind could just get their hands on elite gear…
theres enough bad/giga boosted players wearing the sets as it is who paid for a carry or somebody else to pilot their account, especially on the likes of RP servers since mog is invaluable there.
But shouldnt the same be applied to mythic raids then? Im pretty sure killing any mythic endboss was a mighty task, now People who cant even find gul dan or struggle using nighthold teleporter get full nighthold sets in some weeks, soon they Will be able to do it solo, but nighthold mythic was a very hard Raid.

Thats what cutting edge is for, dope title to prove you were in top 100 guilds each faciton who were to get it. Besides if you cant get rival then you really dont deserve the pvp mogs since its no hard ship to achieve with 99% of classes having a busted composition of sorts in 2’s or 3’s
Well Noone really sees the achi or even reads titles, the gear is what really stands out. Also even if you are able to reach required rating, you might have missed the season due to irl stuff.
Also u can still say gladiators keep their badass gladiator 2,4k achi just Like raiders keep cutting edge.
Does that fact make the idea of people unlocking elite transmogs more bearable?
Given how long a season lasts, which is double to how long a old season used to last iirc…that has to be something fairly serious but no really, its not something negotiable as far as I am concerned its player versus player, it should always be treated like a feat of strength should be. If you missed it then oh well.
and if you want a fair comparison you can always argue that raids never theoretically go away like a arena season does.
Why you didn’t acquire them if they were so easy… PvP players have been already suffering because of PvE gear’s superiority and there are 4 things that motivates you to PvP;
1- Limitied Mogs
2-Limited Mounts
3- Limited Titles
4- Limited Weapon Enchants
I am not a pro PvP player who reaches Gladiator every season btw, I am Rival level.
This is the part where you can basically drop your entire post, since you’re disregarding one part of content which you can argue is the same in terms of skill level required to obtain the set and are failing to view them from a equal stand point.
