Honestly hating this, I had 10+k posts prior to my post count getting reset quite a while ago and is now at 9k… and I still don’t meet the criteria to post an image…
Am I not active enough…?

I’ve seen that and it’s from year 2018 and I wont take it as absolute as its not from blizzard. Same as the discourse list of requirements I cant take them as factual but mere guess from them, untill I see something official from blizzard I dont take anything as factual.
Regulars are the backbone of your community, the most active readers and reliable contributors over a period of months, even years. Because they’re always around, they can be further trusted to help tidy up and organize the community.
To get to trust level 3, in the last 100 days…
Those are the default discourse requirements for trust levels. Blizzard will have tweaked them as they see fit.
But it’s a decent guideline. The issue is we don’t really have any way of tracking our current activity levels over 100 days.
I noticed there is other glitches aswell affecting people having trust levels for gifs than just the beta access, so its not entirely fair yet. You might of been one of those that got it other means than sl beta access.
Its a “take it with a grain of salt” it’s guessing based on that.
Agree and we dont have any official way of knowing what would be really required for it, although I imagine if we had way of tracking its progress it might include what is required for it.
Sadly its more about how much you read and how often you visit then it is how much you write, and also if you have offensive flags (5 or more) you also loose TL3. And the only thing I’ve seen about loosing TL3 for flags/bans is that it takes 6 months for it to reset and to earn your TL3 back, but thats only been hearsay, I have never seen it actually confirmed by anyone.
Oh there they mention 6 months! Glad that’s confirmed, was worried my mage tower rant back in 2021 was still blocking me
I think his just refering that he spends alot time in forum, mentioning his post count. Would assume one also does alot activities on forum towards the trust levels if they post alot on forum I mean.
This is also imo important for the bug fix, if people were having “get out of jail card” even if they were actioned they would maintain their elevated trust levels via that bug and by any logic and common sense trust levels should be lost if actioned.
Yes but its on the discourse list so we dont know certain how long it could be as thats not official from blizzard and they might have done changes on it as they please.
My trust level is “member”,is the lowest?
Im not entirely sure why people care outside of the people that just spam GIFs all day.
No that’s tl2, “basic user” is tl1.
And TL0 is new user i think.
Well its a nice feature to have to use gifs or paste screenshots freely. I’m not entirely sure though why I have seen people who self used gifs/pics daily in their posts downplaying the importance of it, but its beyond anything what is relevant here. I had mine legitimately and I were pretty annoyed to notice it had suddenly dropped due “inactivity” even though I havent likely missed a day in forum for a year.
Trust Level 0 – New
Trust Level 1 – Basic
Trust Level 2 – Member
Trust Level 3 – Regular
“Regular” should be changed to ‘No-life Resident’ to meet the criteria of it atm.
Don’t get Your hopes up, the rules posted here were never truly confirmed by Blizzard, and I don’t believe they’re followed, as I once tired obtain TL3 on a fresh char:
True I’m on the forum every day if that doesn’t count as regular nothing counts.
But I also think it’s stupid that you need such a grind to be able to post links
What is trust levels? and what does it actually do? I got no idea heh… Care to explain?
Here:
The discussion mostly touches the highest Trust level:
Ooooh didn’t scroll to be honest, thanks for clarifying.
HAHAHAHA! So it’s also a contest of being famous/liked.
On a forum where people argue about differing views.
The paradox is insane.
