Why has my trust level decreased?

The requirements for TL3 are completely delusional.

Should be renamed to “Inhabitant”.

lolwut, regular is tl3?!

So I did lose the beta one.
Well that sucks the fun right out.

Incidentally, this is my wake up call that I spend far too much time here since I’ve unknowingly done and maintained the grind entirely by accident.

Likes are the least on the criteria my dear sir. 20 likes in 100 days if the days and amount of likes are correct is nothing, I have people who must of have spammed 100 likes a month on me with offensive names they have made for forum just to spam likes on people they ironically dont like but spam you with likes of some name they have made to like you :joy:

Highest on the requirements for tl3 is reading NEW threads and fully reading them from start to end if I understood right from something I read about tl3 in old forum, so technically seeing some small threads would be easiest, but there is also requirement for reading posts in general so post amount read matters aswell, you will likely find reading threads from start to end hard in general section if threads have busy trafic so my reasoning were to farm it in other sections of forum more easily.

Most counterproductive for this “achievement” is if do like me and hang only in few specific threads or look threads in general with topics that interest me and skim or skip the rest, then one will not get this trust level, we would have to read alot of threads and post even if we are not interested of the topic.

Personally, I am for lowering the trust level of all non-gnomes. Let’s be honest, a bright future is only possible with the dominance of the gnomanity!

We are not infringing on your rights in any way, we are simply putting everything in its place.

Fun is subjectional

You seem to occasionally disappear for months or year but I guess you can still read the forum but as the likes is allegedly only 20 per 100 days and replied in only 10 different topics in this allegedly 100 days period. Then the biggest factors would be reading new threads and peoples posts in them so basically you could lurk on forum for say 2-3 months by not saying a word or engage with anyone and still maintain it via reading and from the 10 threads you posted in earlier or the 20 likes you gained ages ago.

“Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)”
“Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)”

Also: just quickly scrolling through a thread is not enough: you have to wait 2 seconds for each post, because there is a little blue dot near the post date and only when that dot disappears it means that you have “read” the post for the system.

So even if you want to grind a lot of threads, it will be a painful and slow grind, since you have to pause and wait 2 seconds for every post. It’s insane.

It’s less the count that I find paradox than the principle.

I Sometimes check this place out when unsubbed.
Also tend to generate a couple of likes here n there when absent. Surprising amount of spelunkers here whom scrounges through ancient threads and liking posts from several years ago ^^

I wish blizzard didn’t remove Tahra’s meltdown thread.

Oh the whole thing is nonsensical I agree, people who literally visit forum everyday like me and the op for examples, can still drop their TL3 trust level status simply if we dont read 500 threads in 100 days or read 20k posts in 100 days were it, so we can be on forum for a year everyday and those 100 days intervals only manage to read 19k posts and only happent to read 400 threads cause didnt find others interesting to us and then the forum trust level system would deem us as something not “regular” the whole thing is a paradox.

I dont have notifications for likes myself so wouldnt know but I occasionally google search someting and some old post comes up from na or eu. Someone is searching some matter via google and wow eu forum search for old posts comes up I bet.

I don’t trust you, your gnome looks like a sith hiding behind a palm tree.

I must have missed that one, hope it was a good one

I’m pretty sure you posted in it, anyway, it wasn’t nothing special. Second post was Tah’s gnome alt (I presume) with that giant gnome made of written symbols.

Oh, I have seen that somewhere I think, don’t remember where though. Doesn’t matter! I guess I didn’t see it as a meltdown.

The people who saying its a small lost and laughing at others for losing there’s just hope this comes back to bite you when alpha and beta come and people can no longer posts pics and clips of things that need adjusting and or bugs.

Yes some people needed to have there tl3 removed but what i see here is people being petty about others having it after losing there’s. There are good posters that are going to suffer now for many reasons i hope people thought about that when asking for it to be removed. Beta and events and other things will suffer thanks to you and people saying its a small lose please do not underestimate the use of TL3.

T3 requirements are completely ridiculous especially nowadays that EU forum is quite slow compared to years ago.
I used to have bit back in… oof, 2019? Blizzard should, in my opinion ofc, reduce the amount of reading time and make it more “fitting” to the activity of the forum in question. Or reduce it altogether for every region.

There are plenty of just for fun topics. Over a 100 day period its not really a lot.

Im glad the bug was fixed and no one gets special treatment any more.

But I agree with everyone here that the requirements for level 3 are insane and should be drastically lowered.

No one should had it if they dont meet the requirements for TL3 in first place is the bottom line. People will be “salty”, or “petty” as you put it if other people have more rights than them of course as its a private platform with an fee to use it so everyone suspects to have the same equal right and value on their investment on it as we are equal paying customers all. People who had it via glitch/bug did not deserve have any special rights applied on them via any bugs that would not apply for the rest of us.

Perhaps there will be new trust level increases via future alphas/betas we cant know that, but in any case even if someone acquires of such it should NEVER stay permanent and they should NEVER maintain their trust level even if they are actioned for breaking rules on this forum, that should NEVER been the case in here but apparently it were for past 5 years or so. I’m personally glad its fixed and things are now fair for all.

Exactly, a voice of common sense I can agree with.

Now you’ve got to be fake nice and be chronically on the forums to get it
