Who play WoW longer than them. Old/adult players can abuse young players in chat.

I am curious how you can prove who is a child and who not , so that you can report them for child abuse …
The people making these things are clinical idiots .
If I say I am a child and report someone for telling me to -xxxxx- , will they get banned and reported to the police for child abuse .

You think someone is going to set up a fake account with a date of birth to make them out to be a minor and phish for someone to try and groom them?

Why do you think people set a real date of birth on their account in the first place ?
And second there is a thing called parental control , which is for people who share their accounts with their children . AKA a child can play on ANY account . Which means anyone can pretend to be a child and no one an disprove it .

Are you developers / mods even aware how much damage this report system is doing to the game? Ignore feature exist, stuff like this is insane “child abuse” requires serious evidence and can lead to complete deformation of character even if the accused is innocent. Maybe put your data scientists on research duty and compare social behaviour with vanilla, tbc and wotlk versus now where every channel is almost forced silent because of the automated AI Template ticket system you guys got going for you. Whomever is in charge of development of this open your eyes you will completely bleed your player base if you continue down this dumb path.

I have my real date of birth on my account. It’s one of the most basic ways to verify who you are.

Ignore feature exist, also maybe add an account wide ignore feature its that simple.
