The heroic thing wasn’t introduced until endgame wrath so ICC was really the first time I experienced that (skipped TOTC), fair point for the 3 difficulties, but I’d still absolutely not equate that to the amount of BS you have to do to get your conduits, legendaries and soulbinds in order I would gladly take farming through 2 difficulties of tier sets (if I’d raid I’d probably not set my sights higher then heroic so that’d be 2 difficulties for me)
I still say there is no comparison. Unlike the current system, it wouldn’t motivate me to stop playing shadowlands content entirely and just focus purely on RP
I want this game to be enjoyable enough to play through the content but for me it simply isn’t and it is 100% due to these systems.
So you’re probably right about us simply not agreeing on systems.
As for the transmog tho, ever since the removal of tier sets transmog has just suffered, all of the nonraid sets just look like trash and the raid sets sometimes look good, but most of the time they do not hit any fantasy, class or race, to be considered to be used by people. I barely see anyone using transmog from BFA or SL
I know that there are still sets being added to the game, that’s a given, they’re just not as good as tier sets used to be for the sake of expression through transmog, which is the whole point behind transmog, it was an outright downgrade and it’s just weird that they’re holding on to this ‘oh well you don’t need tier sets because you have systems’.
I would take tier sets over their systems every single time without exception or fail
About Wrath, let me refresh your memory:
Wrath had at launch 10 and 25 versions of tier sets. Naxx10 was ilvl200, Naxx25 was same set bonus, different color, ilvl213.
Same happened with Ulduar sets (10 vs 25 man).
The heroic difficulty was introduced in Trial of the Crusader not ICC. Before that was hard modes. ICC and TOGC 4 difficulties (10 normal, 10 heroic, 25 normal, 25 heroic). I don’t remember how the sets worked at that time.
What about pre Wrath then?
Let’s talk classic TBC, since I play it now.
It drops 1 token for a raid of 25 people (Tier 4 Magtheridon, Gruul and Maulgar). One lucky guy will get a piece it on first week. But on average it’s 12 week per person. An unlucky guy can wait 25 weeks, then his class token doesn’t drop for few more weeks (unless you do splits with alts and pass gear to mains)
If you prefer that over few world quests or torghast runs, I don’t know what to tell you.
But again, and I repeat, this is NOT THE POINT. The point is there is no consensus about what constitutes “Good feedback”. I can call “Remove Tier pieces” (if they exist), and you can say “Add Tier pieces” (if they don’t exist). Both are feedbacks. Blizzard can’t do both. It is impossible to make everyone happy.
Making terrible systems which most are unhappy with and then just say that your players are toxic if they don’t like it. Or resort to copium abuse such as “people always are negative” when good expansions (such as legion) had good feedback from the players.
Because of their pride. And “WoW is too big to fail” mantra. Every damn clown at Blizzard is replaceable and they know it and that scares them to death and that is why they act hostile. For now. Ego has a built in self destruct system. It usually results in depression or guilt. Unless one is a psycho.
Not sure what you talk about becouse they did add all those things but clearly.players dont care aboit any of that. What people care aboit most is content itself. Story line, dungeons and raids. All of that can be finishid in few days.
It wont do anything. ActiBlizz is all about making games acessible to reach as many playera possible which is exactly why this game is in current state. Makeing game acessible = reducet content longetivity and path of least resistance becomes boring for all casual players as game is total faceroll on baseline level where most players end up.
BFA beta feedback was full of legit complaint.
SL beta feedback was full of legit complaint.
Majority was not fixed, untill this day same bugs exist in BFA and SL.
Theorycrafter leak in 2019-20 showed that blizzard devs are on a high horse, ignored them and then banned them from forum.
It feels the devs have definitely forgotten World of Warcraft is a game that we are not playing anymore. Guess what we are doing? System, treasure, rare and move on. The world stays still from Legion until now!
