I just think the game just became something else, viewing The lich king as the biggest threat to our world ever existed, then things just escalated we fought titans demon lords, fought old gods and now we dwell in the realm of death itself to fight against another ‘‘godly being’’ which eventually we will defeat, I loved The quests first week i liked torghast the game seemed ‘‘fresh’’ but i just don’t like the way it goes how the jailer’s biggest ally denathrius looses after we retrieve his medalions and how it doesn’t matter i miss the game being more ‘‘simple’’ if you say so

They aren’t great anymore, a MM hunter on the hand has it extremely easy.
Like where can they go from here lore wise? All the big bads are dead, now we have the dead jailor who was behind them all to erase. We’re literally in the afterlife of WoW, that’s end game as lore can go.
The only thing I can think of hand right now is:
Expansion focused on saving Azeroth from the big ol poison sword and the void lords interfering.
Then they’ll be forced to manufacture a lame big bad person for the next expansion.
I find this afterlife to be ‘small’. The zones are like denim pockets and the travel times are made longer to try hide that fact.
Thats my point, in the span of 30 or so ingame years we literally defeated everything, for example i really liked how elisande was this powerful mage trying to save its people we had big quest chain trying to liberate it she was powerful but not god level, i still think there are powerful figures in azeroth that can be a threat.

For me personally I very much dislike the gear disparity that the great vault creates.
In bfa the vault (or chest) created a ilvl difference of 10 ilvl for easy run content (M10 or M15 later with corruption). Mind you that 10 ilvl was less than 10 ilvl is now.
Now the difference IF LOOT DROPS from M10 is about 23 ilvl compared to the vault.
If you stick with your main you will very very very slowly grind your way up with the weekly time gate. Of course only if you lucky with the chest and run m15 from the first week (unlikely).
pvp is a clown fiesta with the gear gaps and versa gaps, making it impossible to start pvping without frustration on alts or if you started 3-4 weeks late in the season.
story - don’t care
anima - don’t bother
maw - don’t do it
boregast - do it till I got the leggo I want, then never do it again
lvling the absolute borefest as usual (i lvled already 7 characters to 60…)
Renown catch up - rng and garbage
Campaign - boring quests, nothing else, If you do it more than once you gonna puke
raiding - never my cup of tea, to long, to boring, too much walking and waiting.
so yea currently on the bring of quitting. Just being here because of lockdown boredom

Mythic+ is a hot mess with RIO ruining the game for those who want to learn and push higher keys, unless you’ve got 1000+ RIO and playing meta classes & specs, good luck getting into groups.
Some classes & specs are just borderline useless and you’re forced to play meta specs, for example me as a Warlock, outside of certain fights we’re not good, especially in m+ we’re too slow to ramp up, & our other 2 specs are just useless. this goes for other classes such as hunter, mage, demon hunter, and so on.
Torghast is alright but gets boring when you’re trying to farm soulash weekly for alt legendaries.
people hate working hard in a heroic-mythic raid & high mythic key for 35 anima, it’s a spit in the face.
so other than that we have the raid which is once a week

My biggest problem is something they could have avoided very easy like they did in BFA. Torghast should have been a side activity like islands and Warfronts. If you do not like it don’t do it. I really hate torghast i think it is just very boring. Blizzard thinks if we put a legendary behind it people will do it. Wrong i do not have it because i really do not like torghast so no legendaries for me. The anima grind is really boring it would not have been if they put in more WQs and not each day the same. I feel like i am doing the same thing i have been doing from day one and it is boring to me. To be honest when i login i do content from other expansions that i like, Shadowlands is just mindless grinding and it is boring. I am not a dungeon person or raid one but i did them to get cooll transmog. I haven’t got a single piece of loot in the first few weeks so i already quit doing that. Overal Shadowlands is not rewarding. In my Ardenweald garden last time i got an item i couldn’t use but i could sell it for 4 copper yay. Or i get copper worth items of fish and meat. So not doing that either.
I don’t really have any issues with SL, except I struggle connecting with much of the story atm, but I am not done reading it yet. Felt I had to rush to 60 to keep up with my friends. Doing the story on alts and slack days atm, but going slow.
Other than that, SL seems fine to me.
Well, Torghast can make me fall asleep, but it helps playing with someone and being on voice together for it.

No it wasnt. Questing has never been fun, and it never will. I still havent finished the campaign thingy, and i probs never will.
Yeahnahyeahnahyeahnah. Can’t even remember doing a questline for it. Was probs busy smashing my head against the desk, as im forced to do terrible content to play the game.
BM and surv is beyond garbage, and got a solid 2 button rotation. If this is your idea of “plays amazing” your standards aren’t very high.
I think i’ve done this two times, maaaaybe im wrong and its just 1, can’t remember. As im not much of a pve player (even though i enjoy a good raid now and then), i got no desire whatsoever to go back to that place. At the fourth boss my mouse was hovering the leave group button so many times.
No they are not. I’m happy there is a pvp vendor this expansion (even though their vendor system is garbage at best), so im not as forced as i was in BFA to spend my time off work grinding M+ all day.
No they are not. they are all a struggle to get around in, except bastion. Was gonna mention the maw here, but we’ll get to that one in abit.
I repeat, questing isnt fun at all. Get to travel the zones i hate, so i can get that sweet 250 gold.
PVP has never been this bad before (not worse than season 5 DK’s) How good are you at your class? doesnt matter, what matters is your class, how your gear is and if the RNG gods are on your side. Class balance is NOWHERE to be seen. Entering an arena feels like a lottery. Who can smash their buttons the hardest. In addition you got covenant abilities just adding disaster to a catastrophe that pvp is in it’s current state.
Again, forced content. No, running around killing NPC’s for ages doesnt do me any good. This is the kind of things that actually keeps me from logging in every single day. I want to play the game, not play choreghast simulator 2021. If people like it, fine, but dont force me to grind 5 floors of depression, just so i can stay competetive in PVP. If i wanted to do chores i’d rather stay longer at work earning money, instead of losing my sanity at home.
If i ever find the muppet who thought it was a good idea to design this zone… Back in cata there was this complete under water zone (i think). I went there once, for about 2 minutes before i left and never returned… This zone is actually worse than that zone. Not even if the maw granted me an weekly evening with Margot Robbie, would i ever do that zone. Steam got all kinds of simulators, im pretty sure if i wanted to find a walking simulator, steam would have a better one for me.
Not anymore. I swapped to games owned by companies that actually gives a damn about their playerbase.
