Why is everyone moaning they want things easier?

I spent three hours last Friday in the two new zones. I found only 2 out of the 3 rares, only 6 stars out of the 10. I only found 5 out of the 6 chests on Mechagon and still needed to find 2 robots when it was bed time.

Today I wanted to continue only to see that my quests are gone and that the progress of the ‘kill 3 rares’ and ‘find 6 chests’ have reset. Why can’t I just continue my quest when I do not have enough time to complete it on one day? Why do the quests take that long if you require them to be completed before the daily reset?

This is what is frustrating, along with the phasing bugs, puzzle bugs, combat bugs, the very long queue times for random bg’s (up to 37 minutes!) …

I can’t even play my main alt anymore which I have to keep up to date too if I want to be part of the raid team.

The story(and side stories) being intricate depends on the beholder; If you Auto-accept quests, clear the objective without taking your time to grasp the essence of that quest in general… then sure the story isn’t at all interesting.

Steps you could take to make it more interesting:
Step 1: Read the quest
Step 2: Understand why you are doing this quest and the consequences of following through with it
Step 3: Perform the objectives
Step 4: Read the follow-up while finishing up the quest

The problem with the community today is that the majority skips Step 1,2 and 4 and even use addons to automatically accept and turn-in quests while skipping everything in between. They take no time to consume the story, which is the actual content of the game and just find things to do rather than being the observer for once.

Grinding rep is all fine with me, i did to million times in all expansions. I am not asking that rep gain needs to be unlimited but come on dont limit it to this misery…we had 8 months (or more) pathfinder part 1 completed, isnt that enough, if they game ppl ability to fly and keep this system in Naz and Mecha the way it is now ppl will complain less and do these daily stuff faster.

Then you’re atrocious at using your time effectively, because you can do a full lap of Mechagon in 5-10 minutes even without the jetpacks. There’s literally no way you couldn’t find 6 chests in 3 hours.

And if you really are having difficulty, then why on earth are you half completing 6 tasks instead of finishing 3? If you go to bed having finished no quests, why not just focus on one zone/piece of content. You literally make no sense.

The story in BfA isn’t deep or intricate, unless it’s the first game you’re playing and you’re unfamiliar with WoW and Warcraft as a whole. If you’ve played WoW before, you know the entire story line when you start BfA and know exactly where it’s going.

The story on levelling is lasting for roughly 5 days, if you’re lucky. And that’s reading the quest line and doing all the quests in the zones. That’s how long it took me when BfA was released to get from 110 to 120.

Finding chests in Mecha can be annoying some times for 1 stupid reason, they keep phasing out, happen to me today, i saw the chest on mini map and when i was going near it…it was gone, i move away and it is back there.
As for rares you need to really have luck and run into one before ppl melt it down in a matter of seconds (unless you play on an empty server)

Cmon, it really isn’t difficult. They spawn in practically the same places, anyway.

As for rares, just join a farm group, easy. Some of us only have 1-2 rares left to tick off the list.

Did you even read what i said?

Occasionally the phasing does cause an issue, but not to the extent that you spend 3 hours on Mechagon puzzled as to where a sixth chest is.

Anyway, another thing about the rares, half of them are spawned/initiated by the player anyway…

Yesterday i had no issues with chests in Mecha, but today i was annoyed a lot, i had 4/6 and the rest of chests just keep phasing out so yes i spent more than a hour trying to do this, i tried to relog, restart game and PC, disable mods but nothing worked.
Then after an hour of this garbage it was just back to normal.

Not intricate? At the start of the expansion people viewed this as simply another Alliance vs Horde expansion, but as the story started unfolding we saw that there are more parties included.

Not only do the old Gods have a part in this, Queen Azshara reveals herself after lying in wait for a very long time.

On top of that we could be beholding the storyline envelop into the Horde faction being split in two with the growing dissent between Sylvanas and other Horde leaders.

This expansion actually has a lot of interesting storylines unfolding, but as I stated before it is entirely on the player whether they want to let themselves be taken in by the story.

Nice post budd, cant agree more with everything you said above.

Ive said a few times in the forums: Even if blizzard will give them what they want, they will still be whining. ITs not they try to do WoW better, they just wanna whine. Thats all.

As the expansion was revealed, it was rather obvious that it wouldn’t be horde vs alliance throughout the fight. You have the entire prophesy of Il’gynoth to consider along with the appearance of Azshara in Asuna. Combined with a strong presence of the void on Argus, along with N’Zoth having no appearance in the game.

The story is laid out rather obvious that it would turn towards Azshara and N’zoth. What end could there possibly be in an all out faction war? Blizzard couldn’t well enough let neither Horde nor Alliance win, so a draw was the only logical conclusion.

It’s good thing that nobady at the US forums cares that much about pathfinder,so it’s some small minorty over here, trying to exaggerate stuff to have it there way.

As i saw some post’s some people really shouldnt play mmo’s.And the problem is Blizzard listened to long for the people who have no time to play the game(but somehow have all the time in the world to hang around the forums),and dont want to socilize(lone wolf people) to reap the best rewards in the game(hence we got tf,removed master loot).
Good thing that the EU forums are not looked that much by the devs, this time.

Azshara’s storyline might be the most intricate one to unfold in BFA, we’ve had hints of her existence going all the way back to Vanilla and there’s been several notions of her in the expansions that followed.

I wonder what percentage of people are aware of the underlying storylines that sometimes only give subtle hints. Let’s just say there’s more than what meets the eye.

To be fair, the quest was officially acknowledged as being bugged.

But the problems stem from the actual game design in Nazjatar. I’m not the biggest fan of it but as a tank I have no problems navigating in it - but the density IS off the charts in some areas and the mob leashes too long. Combined with some awful quest-designs, sharding and the “only one character can loot these stars”-mentality, it’s pretty easy to see why people are already burned out, upset or refuse to pay for it.

Azshara’s existence have been around since Warcraft 3, when Metzen consolidated the lore of the warcraft universe.

A lot of the major plots have already been uncovered. The biggest question that haunted people before, was the location of N’Zoth’s prison. Though it was speculated for a long long time that it was in the rift of Aln, given that not even Malfurion wanted to enter that place (Rift of Aln in the Emerald Dream lies roughly where Nazjatar lies in the real Azeroth).

Though a lot of the story lines in the zones are local and don’t have that much of a lore impact on the overall main story. And yes I’ve played a whole heap of them. Most on the horde side actually, over the years. Only the alliance side hasn’t been fully cowered just yet.

The thing I hate the most is that when I can’t play a day or 2 (you know, real life, I’m casual), that means that there’s no way to catch up! You’ve literally lost that day.

Ehm anyone who quested in Vashjir since Cata days was speculating that there is something menecing down there with Nesphiers. Not to forget the cut Neptulon raid.
As i recall the Aln theory was mostly regarding Xavius, and Ysera. But even back in Cata we where not aware of the Titan prissons and the nature of them.Ahn Quiraj never said it was prisson,we only had the info regarding Ulduar and Yogg.

That’s normal. Especially for the older folks who actually work and can’t do every inGame task, you see.
