Just doing the first half of mythic bosses is enough to ensure 1 loot per person on average and those bosses are usually easier than the last boss on heroic and doable by any decent guild, even pugs are already doing them.
In practice it doesnât quite work out like that.
Yes they get a slightly higher chance at loot but the drops are appalling in raids.
People actually defending the current systemâŠ
So max loot for M+ players is one; which is same as worst case for raiders.
Raiding gear starts at 1/6 and thats max for M+ vault.
I feel like M+ the way it was in Dragonflight was optimal. I didnât feel the need to farm raids on my M+ alt and vice versa. Now raiding feels pretty essential if I want to get decent upgrades, and I like raiding a whole lot less than M+. So Iâm very much not a fan of the changesâŠ
I donât think they should have added the extra upgrade tracks. However the system with rewards has not been changed. Weâve never had mythic track from completion.
no but they increased champ track and kept hero the same with the last 2 steps gated behind gilded crests.
They seem to specifically gimping m+ to force raid participation as has been the case for the last few expansions (m+ lowered ilvl drops, huge loot pools, scaling increases, moving top rewards further up the ladder). If you give them another expansion theyll put max rewards behind 30s so no1 can do them just to force people into raid.
The key level squish has exasperated the issues also with step ups in key level are now huge jumps and not the little step up it was previosuly, once again gating progress.
i just feel like we are passed the idea of forcing content upon players.
if you wanna only play m+ you shouldnt be worse off than someone that does raiding aswell.
atleast not to this degree.
but hey they do they in the end, it might be something i end up quitting over eventually.
The 2 extra myth-track upgrades are a mistake.
It has changed because of the extra upgrade track and the nerfing of M+ vault loot. And the nerf is massive. Also the huge gap between heroic and mythic in ivls is larger. You can no longer run around with good heroic raid item in item slots you havenât been able to fill with M+ mythic items. You have to have luck with your vault and with this season having alot of crap in the m+ loot table your chance is alot worse than in DF to get full mythic gear.
Bro, mythic raiders are progressing every single week to get loot, and they probably also have to wait until every single raid member gets their needed loot too. Now of course they gear way faster, because they have raid drops+Vault, but they deserve to gear faster though. Mythic raiders might even be required to farm crests from M+ too. I think thatâs not good, because there are many people, who like raiding, but they hate M+, so they will avoid mythic, as you canât do one without the other.
becaue raiding has always has been a favourie child of blizz
its like parents who have 2-3 kids and claim to love them equaly but they lie - they always lvoe some or 1 kid more.
raiding is not only easier then m+ this expansion but there is also now a buff life making it even easier every 2 weeks.
Ion always hated m+ and hated how players effecitvley fored blizzard into making dungeons relevant - especialy with gear upgrading systems.
so this is a payback - they want to destroy m+ and they are succeding.
How is M+ vault track nerfed? We get mythic track in vault.
I also hate M+. I only do it for gearing. Iâd prefer it, if they went back to Wotlk dungeon design. Raiding is way more fun. Even delves are more fun than M+. M+ is just annoying, because you literally lose 50 min, if one player is bad, and if you own the key, you gotta do the lower one again. Nah, M+ is just extremely unfun. Any other game mode, including PvP, is more fun than M+ to me.
False. That would be overworld questing.
Because thatâs what the developers want the game to be like since almost 20 years ago. And even though I donât participate in it, I do agree with that notion. It has hurdles not encountered by other gameplay modes.
1/6 instead of 2/4. There are also more crap in the loot table now. And you canât get away with having heroic items anymore since the ilvl difference is much bigger now.
So the upgrade track issue rather than it was nerfed, I suppose we can look at it as a nerf.
The extra tracks are a pain in the posterior, slows down gearing. Is meh!
only for people who are able to do +10 with current tuning .
majority of playerbase if hardgated from even obtaining this gear in first place so it doesnt affect them .
for most peopel this season ends at 619 itlv.
While i agree the majority isnât at 10âs, 619 in the whole season is a bit dramatic. We get crests from +8, so it will at least be 626. And that ilvl should be enough to time a +9 here or there and finish a +10.
Itâs literally the same, you gain 1 mythic item a week from the vault when doing only keys.
And the same vice versa since M+ was introduced. You need to run M+ as raider at start of the patch to get Hero gear with necessary stats, BiS trinkets, etc. You need to run M+ later in the patch to reduce bad luck in the vault.
Hero gear has 6 levels of upgrade, not 4. And crafting still exists.
hero gear is 626 max. myth is 639 max. that is 13 ilvls. HUUUUUUUGe difference. talking literally millions of hp and massive dps.
