I think his attitude shows what the problem is. People only learn PvE mechanics when they get oneshot and decide to look up what killed them. If they lack perception or simply don’t care, instead of improving they’ll just blame the tank/heal, bugs or bad design.
So in this sense, there’s players who are too bad to play this game and will never improve.
It is. The game has been getting nothing but faster and faster in terms of reflexes needed and reactions times. Even open world content is taking on this feature.
If you are an older person i would not bother with this game one bit. That is my advice.
Honestly, maybe the issue I described above with button bloat is only a problem, because the game is very fast. If the game was slower, it wouldn’t be that big of an issue, if some people were ability clickers
You can consider your next move in bg3 for as long as you like, wow requiers quick thinking, and even in bg3 you can just cast haste on your martial and clear entire encounter by left clicking on enemies on difficulties lower than honor.
BG 3 is, like, the most simple ttrpg based crpg that i know, but something like pathfinder games on other hand…
WoW has veeeery generous windows to dodge things compared to actual fast games
Every spec has max 15 buttons in their rotation, and the only one that have actually fast rotation with short gcds are fury, enh and outlaw, 40 is ridiculous exaggeration.
No, I do not mean for those that abused the system, but everyone.
They are objectively way easier than m+ this season, but the real problem is that they were released before the season release.
So yeah everyone farmed delves and got the free gear, and when m+ released, people that got full delve gear jumped straight to +7 and got the worst experience possible.
If delves released at the same time as m+, then people that would want to progress m+ would start gearing from them, while people that “delves were made for” would just do the delves.
Pmuch. BG3 was nothing compared to DoS 1-2 in terms of difficulty. Wayyy too many overtuned magic items in the early game and then balance goes out the window by act 3.
No, many classes have 40. As a prot warrior I use 36 keys frequently for example. However, if you can’t play your class properly and only use your dps buttons, then you have 15. I recommend playing some PvP for example, if you think you only have 15 buttons, especially on a warlock.
do you understand that your utility buttons aren’t your rotation? "nyeeah i used portal to mitigate knockback 2 times in a fight, so hard my brain is overloaded " they aren’t on your constant mind, you use them situationally, the only warlock personal that can be SOMEWHAT applied to be a part of my rotation is dark pact because it’s spammable. Other things aren’t overloading your character or cause button bloat
I may have a very unpopular opinion but here goes:
The issue you’re describing is purely the playerbases own doing.
Now I’ll explain my view:
Firstly I haven’t been a player to consistently do high keys for 2 reasons. First personal time constraints due to work and family commitments and secondly the M+ community being such as to require such high requirements that finding groups was impossible.
The introduction of raider and M+ scores only added to this issue because it now adds yet another layer with which to be required. In my opinion these should be removed, you can pay gold and be boosted through keys artificially inflating your score so it’s not an accurate measure.
On top of that gatekeeping and requiring more and more of a casual playerbase has lead them to request content more suitable for them and as such delves became a thing. Now M+ is more demanding but the available amount of players has dwindled to the point its becoming an issue due to your own constraints.
If you want to have more success with M+ be more open to other players and try teaching rather than demanding more. If you’re truly better than someone then try sharing your experience because that’s the only way I see for the issue to be resolved.
