People chasing hard content had to make extra characters because of how the legendaries worked. ie if you got a garbage one as your first one you knew you needed to roll a new char because the next one was weeks or months away.

Wait, who HAD to make new characters? EN was so easy that even Mythic did not require a BiS leggo.

Me and my bf were in a good Social guild on Draenor before SL’s hit and everyone was amazing, sadly some hardcore raiders slipped in tried to change direction of the guild and everyone ended up quitting.

Since we have moved to the Alliance and Found a great guild on Argent Dawn, I’m not a RPer but the guild has been worth the move.

Finding a happy medium can be hard.

The guild I’m in has a lovely attitude in raids, but it’s lacking any social aspect outside of raiding. Some guilds that are great social hubs don’t do the content I want to do.

Doesn’t have anything to do with how the game is currently (dead) and or that the expansion is bad.

And everything to do with the Guild Master and his 5 friends, tell me, why would I spend 3-4 hours a week helping them get gear?!.. oh, I see, you just haven’t noticed as yet.

when i am in Oribos i normaly use to see peoples from Argent Drawn but anywhere els it is good if i see 2-3 peoples …

well chaning server will be expesive when i have 12 chrathers …

i play a alt like 2 weeks getting it to level 60 and get it some 226-233 gear then i start a new …

i will hit 50 limit real soon

I feel like the entire concept of guilds is dead. Like I can’t remember the last time I was able to play with people in any of the guilds or communities my alts are in. Nobody is online outside of scheduled content runs and nobody socializes ingame. I spent 2 weeks in a guild on alt recently and despite me being online around 12 hours a day I didn’t see anyone online. They advertised being active, helpful and willing to do any type of content from old raids to leveling alts to pvp. Also joined a community with 990+ members thinking with so many people it must be active… Nope, completely dead.

P.S. Blizzard really, really, really needs to sort out the guild/community finder and make the recruitment posts expire after a certain time.

The number of members is no guarantee. Most guilds/communities don’t kick inactive members.

The number of members is no guarantee. Most guilds/communities don’t kick inactive members.

I know, was just hoping that there would be at least a couple of people still active in that community. This is why I wish Blizzard would put the ingame guild/community finder on a timer so it wasn’t filled with inactive ones. For example FFXIV has a website for finding an FC or Linkshell (basically guild or community) and those post expire after 30 days and show the number of active members in addition to total members. Really easy to check if there is anything new and how many people to expect to be online. Too bad that I like WoW gameplay more

I think it also sucks, because guilds use that number to basically catfish new players. Some stay, some leave soon after they realize the state of things.

No. People want to play WoW but Class design sucks and server communities have been destroyed by Ion Hazzikostas. That dude just wants to log in and spam boss.

In fact, during its life, it seemed that Blizzard was actually going in the right direction as patches went on but stuff happen.

but actually that is what they make you always believe.
it happened with basically every patch and expansion and next time they will do the same again

essences, corruption, covenants etc.
If someone would join systemlands they would probably think that renown and covenants aren’t even that bad, because they patched all the bad stuff out already, but it still ruined 90% of the expac before.

before legion they didn’t need to patch all the inconveniences out because there weren’t any of those systems.

if you check what happened in the patches it is actually hilarious

(not 100% sure on all the time lines)
azerite gear was totally hated in 9.0
changed in 9.1 to a better version and got m+ vendors
same time they introduced essences, which everyone hated
9.1.5 or 9.2 the acquisition of the essences got improves and the exp for the heart of azeroth
then they introduced corruption which everyone hated
just to change it later so you have a vendor

basically the identical things happened in shadowlands.
Nobody can tell me that they didn’t do all this crap on purpose. They cannot be this dense to not realize that they did the same thing over and over again with exactly the same outcome

i love the class design i love playing surv hunter with a broken tier set doing 300k dps just trowing bombs nostop all over the places feels like playing bomberman
