Vanilla have always been my favorite game/mode, but the Aniversary crap is just a damn joke, 90% of the people are running around with R14 gear, the economy is beyond broken, this is a WSG weekend right now and not one single WSG game is up, 99% of the playerbase is just running semi AFK in AV and to top it all, we already got the Era servers, the wait is just killing the game right now, with not one single reason for waiting

90% of the people do not have R14, economy is fine, there are 2 WSG’s up right now, 99% of the playerbase does not run AV. You got all your points straight up wrong.

I don’t really know what you are waiting for. TBC will come when it’s ready. Right now BWL phase, so just raid MC, ZG and BWL, I have plenty of gear to loot, no need to hurry.

It’s easy to be confident, debunking verifiable claims.

/who 60-60 c-warrior n-ab returns 10 people. 1 of them in AV, rest are not.
/who 60-60 c-warrior n-ac returns 15 people. 3 of them in AV.

I’ll not continue, as it’s obvious that percentage of AV players is far beloiw 99%.

Out of curiosity I logged into the game and /who Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch on both factions and they’re below 10 people, some of who aren’t even 60. When I /who Alterac Valley it returns 50 people, which is the maximum amount it can return at a time, so there are probably a lot more judging by the amount of people standing next to the battlemaster. Far from 99%? I don’t think so.

I don’t know what game are you playing, but on my server there are 21 people in WSG right now.

21 people in WSG during WSG weekend, probably hundreds in AV and let me guess, you can still with confidence say that the majority of players do NOT run AV?

Seeing as the majority of players are not actively playing pvp at all I can say that he can be confident in that 99% of players are not in there. It would have been one thing while everyone was doing the grind but now most people are done with it

Of course. The majority of players are busy doing other things.

If you would formulate your thought as something like “90% of players, playing battlegrounds, are choosing AV instead of WSG or AB”, I wouldn’t say a thing against that. But it wouldn’t sound as dire, I guess.

That isn’t the point though. All statistics aside, the point is that a lot of people are unhappy with how AV is THE battleground for grinding honor, despite it being WSG weekend.

It’s your choice to be pedantic. 99%, 90%, 80%, it doesn’t matter. Ask anyone how they got their rank 14, the majority will say AV, and that’s ultimately the problem at hand.

Can’t argue with that. There shouldn’t even be so much players with R14, as it greatly devalues the whole title system and greatly simplifies raids because of immense power boost that many players got.

There is no point in even getting R14 as the greens on day 1 TBH will be better.

I mean raids wouldnt be to much different without r14. We did mc and bwl without r14 and it was fine.
But for me atleast i already got exalted with wsg which took 40-50 hours or maybe even more to get there.
And when i did it, it was atleast 2-3 games going on none weeknds and 4-10 on wsg weeknds.
But we are 6 months in so im assuming most people are done with exalted, and not many will do it on alts. Also we are close to aq which means you can get better bracers from rep farming anyways.
Ab gives 0 good rewards so is no point doing it really.
I do agree tho that ab, wsg could give some better honor similar to av☺️
Also have you checked lower lvl wsgs? Might be ppl that twinks that plays.

Only because Blizzard designed it this way.

I’d rather be in AB than AV but not to get stomped by premades and get 0 Honor when I’m trying to rank.

People take the path of least resistance that’s why there are no wags or abs up
