hear me out, for me personally i don’t find legion remix as exciting as it should, maybe because i have done it all in that expansion (besides getting gladiator maybe, since i’m bad at arena).
Don’t get me wrong, i still see legion as the best expansion overall but i have it all in this one and for me will be like a check list of new things to do and that’s it, maybe mage tower if the old appearances make a return or not will be on the radar too
Anyway, since i started in wod, i would’ve really liked to play a wotlk style of remix because there are some rewards that maybe could’ve come back, as black protodrake or original amani bear or being able to farm zulian tiger and razzashi raport or why not the argent crusader mounts.
hopefully, one day !!
blizz make it happen
PS: i know there are posibilities to play wotlk with classic sod or whatever realms but if there’s no retail rewards atached to it, i won’t bother
I’d love Legion. But Wrath!! I’d play WoTLK Remix 24/7 until my graphics card melted and the buttons fell off my mouse. Then I’d get new ones and play it some more.
I dunno. For quite a few people (not all of course) wotlk was either the peak or the step before the “great decline” of wow.
Do you think they can recapture that feeling?
Well there is that too.
And the whole rose tinted glasses effect.
I mean they can remix whatever they want. But I’m not expecting it to feel remotely the same as the first time.
It will still be fun though
I’d love to see MoP again, mainly because of the transmogs that I had no chance to unlock at that time while the remix was active - but also because it’s the best expansion in terms of ambience and music
It will probably happen at some point.
I personally would be curious, but not overly interested. Unlike a lot of people, WotLK wasn’t a great expansion for me personally (I quit WoW near the end of it, because I was fed up with it).
On a personal level I’d be more interested in a WoD Remix - with the hope that they’d add some stuff that was scrapped.
Or even a BfA Remix. Just to level and quest in those wonderful zones again.
Urgh. Remixes are all about cosmetics; WotLK has barely any pixels. I definitely wouldn’t care about any low res cosmetics & recolors back from that time. I’m very glad if we indeed get Legion; I have pleanty of transmog to catch up from that time (was my WoW break) and the gear from Legion is some of the best ever made (just was too lazy to farm it up til now).
I’d be very surprised if we don’t end up cycling through all of the old content as Remix events eventually and I guess it doesn’t have to be in any particular order. So WoTLK will probably be available in the future.
Not that much to collect in WOTLK. Legion on the other hand. And BfA. Shadowlands was awful to play when it was current but with an OP character that doesn’t need anima might be a different beast.
Which let’s be honest won’t happen. They didn’t put back the class sets for MoP remix, there is no reason why they would go a different route on this one.
They have this clear (and stupid from my pov) mindset on such items.
Even though I also almost 100% MoP Remix when it was available, I am not in support of said content as content that cannot be done on my main character.
Instead I’d prefer if they did a system similar to Timewalking, where 1-2 zones from old content would become scaled to the level cap and would allow players to get their completions for those at an accelerated time with deterministic drops.
