Why people sell x1 items in AH ?

Would work too. I just don’t feed those players for a matter of principle.

At the start when people do not have very much money to do massive production large stacks of items simple do not sell very well. People generally need smaller quantities of items to fill missing ingridients for leveling requirements.

Sometimes I want to buy 3 peace bloom. Imagine if I had to buy 10 or 20 when I only want 3.

That’s why I also sell stuff in single stacks…

Another thing they do is post a wall of stacks with 1c bid and say 50s buy out.

Now, if you try bidding on a bunch of these you will be outbid or have the actions canceled in no time.

Edit:
I found the solution to all my problems:
https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/ah-need-sort-by-buyout/84151/34

Sort auction by price per unit:
/run SortAuctionItems(“list”, “unitprice”)

It’s because people are selling things like leather for vendor price. I’ve already stopped selling heavy leather because of that. But I don’t need super low bids to sell for reasonable price and quite occasionally, there’s not even any single stacks in ah even if there’s demand for those.

its a strategy based on a yt vid with some Addon I think. An Addon to use AH and make profit

People nowadays are amazing, they can use apps with such a grace

It depends on the commodity, for many items it makes perfect sense so sell stacks of one. What crosses the line into scam territory is the spamming the AH with overpriced 1c bid auctions to get them to show first, in the hope that it will trick people on the going rate for that item or make it too tedious to dig through all the spam to find the reasonably priced options.

Doubt it, because you cannot manually set starting bid on it. Auctionators default starting bid is 5% below buyout and you cannot input decimals. So lets say you have item with 5 silver buyout, that would make it 5 copper starting bid as 99% is highest “starting bid discount” you can give.

It’s the people using Auctioneer/TSM (likely TSMs quick post feature or whatever it’s called). Some are doing it intentionally, some because they are too lazy to setup their TSM.
