Is there any advantage to do that ? Do you get reduction on depot ? Why people spam the auction house with full of crap x1 when they can stack them by 10 or 20 ?

It’s cheaper yes, but also probably because they use TradeSkillMaster.
So that people cant get to the 20x auctions and are forced to buy the 1x auctions

Sometimes I sell things individually if i’m convinced that buyers won’t want to buy several at once.
Arcanite bars is an example, how mental would it be to sell that in stacks right now?
Sure, some item is buy one by one. For example, you won’t buy “Essence of …” or “Arcanite Bar” by multiple stacks, because this is expensive items that sell for high price.
… But the amount of junk x1 is just insane now. People put x1 silk cloth for 4 silver omegalul.

I’m running a game like this on the Razorgore AH. It’s to force you to buy their crap for high prices.
You can quite literally force players without addons to buy at 10 times average price thereby forcing average price up.
Also the way AH works right now, you can quite literally FORCE the low sales to be the medians(in the middle) and not the extremes(at the edges)

Can you explain more ? I don’t understand how putting junk x1 is making you appear in the “middle” instead of the “edge”. Me, i sort thing by price, and i browse all pages to be sure the data is really well formed.

The default AH ui sorts by bid price - meaing if I were to put up 20 x1 stacks at lower that the lowest bid and another 20x1 higher than the highest you would have to go to page 2,3 or even 4 to find the good deals.
Most people dont use an addon and cant be bothered to look through 17 pages of silk cloth to find the good deal, that at that time somebody else might already have bougth - so they buy the expensive 1 stacks instead. “it’s only a few coppers more and I dont have to change pages 10 times to buy”

I’d rather spend 20 seconds of my time rather than feeding money to such braindeads. I’m not playing their game.
Same way I’d definitely rather buy a stack for 1g 50s 0c instead of the smartass’ one for 1g 49s 99c.

I hate these addons - imho they should be banned.
After all they are disturbing to the masses and in a way create an unfair advantage.
TSM literally exploits peoples lazyness to click through a few more pages of Auctions.
Idk how it can be too hard to click a few times until the proper stacks show up.
They do that because they are subhuman scum. Obviously.
because the addon works like that by default and many people can’t be bothered to learn how to change it.
I think u get no deposit fee for listing single items that have been traditionally sold in stack and there are people who will not scroll though 5-10 pages to get to stacks with more reasonable prices
My workaround is simple, on fast moving stack items like cloth, ore, herb etc I sell stacks at buy out price that’s is reasonable but start bids lower than single item one
So stack of 20 copper bars is 1-5c bid and 16-20s buyout
That way people can see my auction for stacks before single items and obviously my buyout price for stack will be way more reasonable
Seen a couple other people doing it as well, works for buyers and sellers who don’t want to deal with scams
better yet, get an addon and don’t even spend the 20secs
It’s people using auctionator to scam people who aren’t using auctionator
I usually just bid on the 1c items to the point where they’re still high profit for me but are not on the AH front page meaning they’re not likely to get sold by their own scam technique
I’d feel bad but hey is scammers scamming scammers a bad thing?
