Same with disc priest. 7-8 damaging spells, 2 oh shiet buttons, has to keep atonement, work on affix and keep dmg rolling while weaving light / shadow spells. Disc in mop was so much fun with only 4-5 buttons…
For me, Assassination plays so much smoother without Echoing Reprimand and Septis/Serrated Bone Spike. I just can’t use more than 25 keybinds so I don’t have space for those two talents on the my action bars. Sure, I may do less damage but the rotation is better to handle without those two abilities. Carrying over all those abilities from SL wasn’t needed IMO and adds to the feeling of button bloat. We’re all trying to forget about the worst expansion in WoW’s history and here Blizz gives us its spells and abilities. At least they could have reskinned it.

There is no way those words are coming out of your mouth right now, and you have tried outlaw on the ptr, just no.
I have, just not a recent version, which is just mostly tuning anyway. There are only a few changes that actually reduce the button float, but it’s not enough.
to bad that they keep changing it to something with just too much depth. Season 1 was interesting. There weren’t to many CD’s and the challenge was to keep an overview over applying debuffs. Your 4 x Poisons, Garrotte, Bleeding, Keeping Debuff of Evenom Up and refreshing Slice and Dice. In AoE keeping Crimson Tempest Debuff on enemies and all the rest. Before you used your 2 CD’s you made sure that Pandemic Effekt I believe they called it was done and then you pressed the CD’s. It’s was demanding enough in M+ where sometimes restealthing (because of Ghosts or Tanks puhsing) was an issue.
Now they add even more CD’s to a already challenging rotation. It’s just simply not what I am looking for. I try to relax after 8h of work, not stress myself to a point where it’s just more work.
The entire game should be much simpler. It can not be that you need addons to do the high end content. Visual effects should be better and not have the same colors and classes rotation should be kept simple enough.
