Someone may have already covered this. This is just my experience and impressions on current game mechanics when you get killed on the boat.
All killed bodies will get resurrected on the ship instantly without any resurrection penalties after the ship changed zones while your body is on the ship’s deck. This is game mechanics.
In case you ghost run to your corpse, you must make real quick haste to retrieve it off the ship’s board as mostly the ship departs before you can resurrect in the water.
The resurrection is a dubious experience when there is an enemy raid camping the ship. As soon you resurrect, you get instakilled. Essentially, you are a prisoner, as you cannot get off the ship.
Now I understand this is normal in most cases, but abnormal if a well coordinated group takes control of the ship. Thank you for reading my post.
Doesn’t matter if the ship is docked or not, while your body is on the ship’s deck, it will get carried by the ship when it departs. You will rez as soon as the ship leaves and enters new zone.
I don’t get it, so the ship changes continents and you get resurrected and insta killed by the raid on the ship, correct? Then you release, appear as ghost in the graveyard of the zone where the ship just arrived and run towards the pier where it’s about to land… Wait there in range of your corpse, and when the ship starts movimg back, you hit resurrest and you are home free. You just got killed twice and thats it. What am I missing?
I think they aren’t liking this part, but it will probably keep on happening or having the chance on getting it happened so long people will play the game if you’re on a PvP server.
Have you ever heard of Angwe? He was ganking boats in Menethil for months at a time back in 2006, so if it wasn’t worrying Blizzard then, I hardly think it will now.
