This is coming from someone has played in TBC and did Raids, PVP and Achievements there.
TBC was a great expansion but it was still an expansion. Expansions cause all content before them to become obsolete in this case all of Azeroth.
Everyone will be on Outland and with this current market I expect people to clear most raids in week 2 with epic flying mounts.
What TBC has that I do not want:
- Daily Quests: This is where the grind we have in Retail started. It looked nice at start but became a part of the game you had to do every day. And yes you had to do it otherwise you were behind on something.
- Flying: I am someone who has 500 mounts on 1 character in Retail and I can say that once flying is implemented the world will shrink it will remove world PVP and dodging enemies.
- Achievements: Achievement were added in the last patch of TBC just before WoTLK and it was great at first but became a pain eventually.
- Sanctuary Cities: Places where you canât do PVP on PVP servers is just wrong. Why leave Shattrath where you can queue for BGâs do banking or portal to somewhere.
- Heroic Dungeons: Why have 2 difficulties for the same dungeon and why get limited to new dungeons only added in TBC.
- Class Balancing: Blizzard has tried to balance all classes since launch and in Retail they still arenât balanced. Leave classes as they are
TBC has some great features that can be added to Classic as Classic + without effecting the game, all of them can be a patch:
- Add Karazhan for 20 man.
- Add ZA for 40 man.
- Add Sunwell for 40 man.
- Add zones in Azeroth Eversong Woods, Ghostlands, Isle of QuelâDanas,
- Other Azeroth zones can be added as well
- Jewelcrafting can be added in a way to add more variety
My main quote here is why try to create something that eventually failed rather than trying to something that might work.
