A lot has happend since the release of TBC Classic. We have seen boosting, store mounts, changes of seals to balance races etc. Some thing are bad and some have obviously improved the game. Thats an other debate though.
Now, regarding the same factions BG. We are standing amongst a group of players who have a long time BG queues and have a hard time to join BGs. This group that has spammed forums for 2 weeks have been in general (not all) been following a meta of stronger racials and (some also call them metaslaves) If they knew about buffed racials why was it suddenly so hard to predict the coming spike in BG queus in TBC? It was already imbalanced to a degree in Vanilla Classic. The so called change is now in testing phase and now they even compain on premades stomping em. Where will this end?
The consequence of same faction BG
If this is to be implemented we know this specific group will get a temporal relief but it will Kill the the whole game in the long run. as it will make formers members of the Alliance to reroll or quit making it a 1 faction game. Alliance faction is already in trouble with declining numbers. To promote Horde faction solutions will just further accelerate the decline and ending of the Alliance faction. Believe me as both Alliance and Horde player I would love Horde to have faster BGâs but I know what the longterm effects of this will be on the game in general. And it does not look good. We have already seen this in Retail. Why do the same mistake again? Have we not learned from the past Blizzard? We are now standing in a crossroad where we can still steer the game to save it or going to the quick solution and ending it permanently on the long run.
Forward solution:
Instead of implementing a drastic change as same faction BG its better to make minor changes first and monitor the outcome of it. My suggestion of the first change is to introduce free faction transfers to all Horde players. This will improve the already bad balance of the game. Letting not just 1 person but all friends and guilds to roll over free of charge or maybe even for a small fee. It will put more people for PvP on both sides and balancing out the queue times. There are other things to stimulate balances as racials etc but lets start with above first.

Thats why theres literally 50% undead on top ladder on eu and na, horde have insane ques because more pvpers but I bet people just randomly choose horde because they like the aesthetics or ââI just went horde because my friends are hordeââ

Goto retail honestly, Blizzard will never change or nerf anything that touch class balance or race. You can post gazillion of wall of text, doesnât change the fact that the game is healthier since the Battleground Change, and the Battleground Change doesnât affect class balance or race balance at all, so itâs not something that change the meta, itâs an improvement for everyone ⊠why would Blizzard remove an improvement to the game ? To satisfy your own ego ? Lmao.
What you, want, is to change the meta. And it will never happen because we expect to play TBC with the balance of TBC, not another game.
Oh look, another horde panicking because they arent handheld into fast ques even tho they knew this would happen if too many picked horde and alliance now having no incentives to play.
Why should my ability to play the game be based on what people on other servers do?
Yeah and by then Season 1 will be over. All you people talking about âwait and seeâ small changes donât seem to realize how little time was there actually left to try and fix Arena season 1 before it turned into a fiasco that wouldâve reverbered negatively onto subsequent seasons as well. The fix was needed NOW, not months into the future.
Blizzard made it clear in their blue post that their feedback indicated that most Horde have absolutely no intention of switching faction and would rather stop playing instead. You Alliance players seem to cling to the idea that you somehow know better, or you just canât accept that this is how things are because of how this is detrimental to you.
Blizzard has tried again and again to change racials across expansion, and to my knowledge thereâs not a single version of WoW where ppl would agree that things are balanced. What makes you think they can do now what they couldnât do in 15+ years?
Oh for priest vs priest i guess if you bring dispells as only they got a reliable one as warlock is on 30sec cd and you got like 15 buffs as a priest i guess it might be bad for you if rng is right and it doesnt break but vs warr/rogue you should feel 100%better with poison/bleed/disease immune and bonus armor or you only face ud priests by some chance?
Or you bring a more then 1v1 situation where there are 10 other ccs then a fear
