I just entered my 1st dungeon RFC and i was lost. But then the others on my group shared me some quests from other cities ( I am a troll ). So how it is supposed for someone like me to know that others quests exists also for this dungeon and more chain quests also? Maybe should i install an addon? I want the authentic experience but the pain is huge!
For example now i saw that the 1st quest starts if you talk to Thrall. How is this supposed to be known? So i have to visit every place in ogrimar? And on other cities too?

Yes, but why blizzard didnt put these features in the game? This is i donāt understand? Also a dungeon have many places. Without an addon i have to clear the entire dungeon. But from my little experience someone in your party will guide you, 80% of them play with addons.

A first time WoW player would find the game hard, especially Classic. If you want to go through all quest install Questie, you can unable quest tracker and you still get the real experiencie, but all avaliable quest shall show in world map and minimap.

Im pretty sure youāre a big(tiny) troll but all MMOās are known to be complicated to outsiders of them

So questie is working 100%? Cause i see it has low ratings.
And why some quests start when i reach some level or if i complete other quests first? This is the most complicated thing.
The first play through you see half the game. Play another class/race and see some more. Eventuellt you see many facets of Classic and appreciate what you just mentioned.

sure you can go through the first time with addons telling u everything and u will be better off with xp and gold, but it takes away from the fun of progressing when u level another character and another.
I did a no addons allowed run on a mage on nostalrius. I tried to every quests i could find and went to every zone, i learned alot and met alot of crazy things.
Now when I use questie I still use most of that knowledge I gathered and know things better than anny quest helper.
Ofc U cant remember them all from the get go so having something to help u remember what and where helps, but yeah first run i deff recommend taking it slow and discover everything u can.
That time it took me more than 20 days played before i hit 60.
(āI am a trollā) hmm something doesnt feel quite rightā¦

Because you have to read the quest and enjoy the lore, the tasks, the world, the players.
Blizzard included these features in later expansions. Feel free to purchase BFA and go play there if you want to automatically finish everything fastā¦

It always was until Cata, after the old world revamp. You either know quests from experience or you have to explore and discover them. I levelled so many alts during BC/Wotlk that I can still remember the quests and zones very well.
I would say if youāre getting very frustraited just go ahead and get an addon like questie, itās better to have help getting through and actually experiencing the game even if itās not 100% authentic.
The only help i want is all these quests on other cities i have to visit and in what order should i do them. I dont care about the classic quests on map, i like the pain. But i dont understand the quest system on the 3 cities of each faction. How they connected? I am level 17 right now troll. Should i visit also the tauren and undead cities?
If you want all the RFC quests, that means you know they exist. If you didnāt know, you would be fine with the single quest you got in Orgrimmar for it.
Chances are they are sharable.
If you want to plan ahead on your activities such as dungeons, like getting all the quests; dont half azz it and figure out how to get there and what you need to do to get them.

People probably low-rate it because they protest against its existence. It works fine, just requires reload ui at times.
Ok i downloaded questie, is very good addon. I just disabled the quest tracker!
Back in Vanilla we spent a lot of time reading wowwiki, thottbot entries, and asking advice from guildies. You need to do your own research and use your brain, if you want to level optimally.
Donāt expect much hand holding like modern games have (including Retail).
Pretty much yes, or read up on the sites mentioned before.
Quests are really terrible in WoW classic.
The fact the first reply to the thread was āāUse Questieāā underscores the problem. If Quests were descriptive enough to figure them all out on your own, people wouldnāt have to rely on all those add-ons.
Many quests simply donāt give you the information you need, you would have to search all over the zone with hostile mobs around you, and waste hours trying to figure some quests out. No one wants to do that so people rely on add-ons and donāt even read the quest anymore.
The reason people donāt read quests and use add-ons, is the fault of Blizzard, not the players, the quests simply donāt contain descriptive enough information that you can rely on.
And itās not just a problem in WoW, itās a problem in most MMO. Itās a problem in most RPG even.
Yet these gamesā¦with content that is completely unintuitiveā¦like WoWā¦like Divinity Original Sinā¦like tons and tons of other gamesā¦get these glowing reviews. And almost everyone playing the game is relying on Wiki and add-ons to complete the quests.
I will never understand it, is it that reviewers canāt admit that they rely on Wiki sites to figure things out, affraid of being called a noob or something.
I like WoW, donāt get me wrong, but it is a game with many flaws too.

I know all the six quest in RFC and I always get them before I do RFC (and I only do it once). There is a particular satisfaction I get from having them all and being able to share them with the group (except Hidden Enemies), and then have 6 compelted quests in a row in the quest log.
You can use it only to show where quests locate that are for your level. You do not have to use any other its features I believe. This way you can still have this genuine exploration experience without mod pointing you where to go and what to kill. But you can see global map and see : HA this zone has few quests for me, perhaps I should go travel there and see what they are.
