“Minor” love it
I really don’t understand this? People here claim they play DK because they always played DK and love the class, but are surprised when a bug gets fixed and deem it unreasonable because it destroys their class. If you always played a DK then even without watching youtube or reading forums, you’d know that something is different about the gargoyle, yet you decided to exploit it. Now that they fixed the bug, you cry?
It’s fairly easy really.
They’re just lying.
No, you are wrong ( and have no idea what you’re talking about on top ).
In Vanilla you could Feign > Trap instantly, but in Classic Vanilla you couldn’t because the client had suffered changes since 2006. They didn’t fix that, which was a huge nerf to Hunters in PvP and some aspects of PvE. Yet they ‘‘fixed’’ Gargoyle. They were both bugs, but they cherry picked which one they fixed, nerfing DKs while leaving Hunters weaker than they should’ve been for the entirety of Classic Vanilla.
And that’s why the #nochanges crowd should be really worried, because when they start doing SOME balance changes but not OTHERS, we have a problem. Either they’re all bugs and they get fixed, or they stay as they are. Devs shouldn’t get to pick and choose randomly how much they screw up with the game.
Sweetie you are expansion too late with that … and we all told you that, its not about some changes or good changes, its about allowing blizz to do whateverthezog they want and then tell you “but you liked X which means we can do Y”
That movement was dead the second they announced TBC would start on the last patch anyway.
It was understandable for classic cause they may have legit not had the data from back then.
When TBC was released EVERYONE used versioning software.
Gargoyle shouldn’t even be casting continously in WotLK like it does now lmao. It was changed to be like that in mop :D.
So yeah, stop complaining. Gargoyle’s damage will be higher than it was in the actual wotlk even after this change.
hahaha idd
That’s fine. Using the last patch is understandable, all private servers do that. Changing some classes but not others isn’t understandable. Again, the HUGE nerf to Hunters gutted them in PvP in Vanilla. Feign > Trap was absolutely VITAL to survive in PvP, and on Classic Vanilla it didn’t exist because of spell batching.
So after having to deal with a nerfed/bugged Hunter for 2 years it’s infuriating to see them fix DK gargoyle when they didn’t do it for Hunter.
They started doing changes even before Classic released. And done even more since.
And the current Garry you have now is not the same as was in vanilla wrath. So you are playing on a changed class already.
It’s really not, it’s why we’re in this mess in the first place.
It really is, no one should be subjected to the mess that was early Vanilla talents or the busted DK from WOTLK launch.
Github launched in 2008.
There’s absolutely no excuse for a major company to not have their in house versioning software keep all of this, and that would’ve been TBC.
As I said, it’s understandable for vanilla cause it was spagetti and prior to versioning software really taking off.
There’s no excuse for it post TBC other than being lazy.
They’re going to fix the other DK bugs too then, RIGHT? This WHOLE week (multiple dks) i’ve been plagued by bugs. Where RUNES are OFFCOOLDOWN but the ability is on a cooldown. I highly doubt that theyre gonna touch it, since it’s been bugged FROM BETA!
They only fix gamebreaking bugs
It’s not that they don’t have it, it’s that people didn’t want to play with scuffed talents/balance
DK at 3.0 launch could fight several players at the same time, it was that busted. NO ONE wanted to deal with that for months.
Except they don’t? The Hunter Feign Death > Trap bug due to Spell Batching from Vanilla Classic WAS gamebreaking. It completely neutered hunters in PvP to not be able to trap people.
Yeah, absolutely not a soul is going to believe this claim.
You… think people wanted to play a season of PvP/PvE where DKs were basically stronger than 2 players put together?
Well then you’re just goofy.
Do I think people wanted to play WotLK to relive the past? Absolutely yes.
They’ve been stronger than 2 players put together all of phase 1 anyway cause of Gargoyle so that wouldn’t have changed at all.
