Then they also need to come up with ways to penalize those who are being tools to the newbees. Cause it is really bad for the population health of the game if people who want to try it get such a bad impression

Edit: Monk at lvl 45+ and I boosted a char to 50 on this acc, still seeing the guide flag etc. So yeah, its not just below 20’s

Only a mentor can see who is a newbie as only those who are either new to the game or opted into the mentor system can see the marks. So that is rather disturbing. That mentor is a disgrace.

WoW’s community are a bunch of carebears compared to many other games…

This has to be one of the most frivolous complaints I’ve seen in a long while with bogus claims of “abuse” by “elitists” that get zero gains from the Mentor system.

You are NOT ‘publicly flagged’. Only ppl that are a mentor (the characters with a flag) can see it. And not just anyone and their dog can become a mentor either.
