Why there is 25% increased rewards for aliance since they dominate?

Bonus only matters to encourage players to WM on. If you don’t get extra bonus what does it matter?

It’s to encourage players to turn warmode on, why do the Alliance need encouragement to turn warmode on when they already outnumber the Horde here? If anything the Horde should get the bonuses but the way Blizzard has designed this mess of a system means they can’t easily fix it.

Sorry but you don’t have a leg to stand on in this, there’s no way around the fact that the Horde are being treated unfairly in warmode on the RP shards. We’ve been complaining for months to deaf ears.

Ye but I guess I’m biased because I WM to WPvP, and so bonus is irrelevant to me.

On the contrary, bonuses have the most affect on world pvp. Why do think these bonuses exist in the first place? They exist to encourage players to… play in warmode. It’s quite a simple concept. When you have a system that’s designed to encourage players to play it’s usually for a good reason, like them being serverly outgunned by another factions overpopulation.

So as you can see on the RP shards the system isn’t working, it’s encouraging the dominant faction players to turn warmode on creating a snowball like affect.

They exist as compensation because people doing wpvp can get their quest delayed by a stupid amount of time, potentially hours.

I feel you’ve stumbled in to the two RP shard threads without really reading them both? You’re on a PVP realm, you don’t connect with the RP shards unless invited. You probably have a situation on your game where the Horde is dominant and you deserve the pvp bonuses.

On the RP shards that are only linked to RP types, the Alliance is clearly outnumbering the Horde whilst continuing to keep the bonuses. Why? Because it’s set for all EU Realms regardless of A/H ratio. Considering the RP’s are locked away we really should have our own bonus system or none at all, I don’t mind.

Literally having all the rewards, whilst not being the under dogs and actually dominating the pvp scene. You think that’s fair?

im playing on Outland eu with warmode on and there is like 3x 40 horde raid groups in uldum compare to 10 man group ally diference here . maybe its diffrent on other realms but i hate the way im geting my rares stolen from the horde and geting jumped by 30 people at once . i love warmode but they gota do something with faction imbalance

You play on a non-RP shards, this topic is specifically about RP shards. Horde are dominent on your shards so you deserve your warmode bonuses, it’s the opposite here on the RP shards.

Fair enough :+1: but i play on argent dawn aswell sometimes but il stay out of it i guess

You don’t have to stay out of it if you don’t wish but all the data shows RP shards live in a different world to non-RP shards.

This suggestion is by no means fullproof, but for example if you were to go to Raider-io and look at the players logged at Argent Dawn you’ll find 66,390 are Alliance and 27,561 are Horde. That’s the sort of issues we’re facing in warmode on the RP shards, a clear numbers advantage for the Alliance and they get all the free perks on top of it.

There I fixed it. Those there to PvE have their place in WM, but WPvP is/should be the primary activity - and bonus does not matter for that.

I really dislike people ‘fixing’ quotes, you either quote me or you don’t. You can just say what you think underneath without tampering.

On what you said though through your ‘fix’, the reason why they are trying to encourage PVE players in to warmode is because of the imbalance they’ll be facing. This is why one faction has extra rewards and the other doesn’t because the time they infest facing a overwhelming Horde enemy wouldn’t be made up without a bonus. Is this good design? I’m indifferent to it.

But when you have a system that encourages players to warmode and you get everything and the kitchen sink, this is when you have a major problem. Also now people understand the RP shards population ratio, it could lead to issues where they get invited in just for a easy ride to do their dailies. You can still get invited in to RP shards, so this could be a easy exploit to get around the reason you have the bonuses altogether.

Sry was just a joke

Whenever I’ve been in RP WM shards, in my experience… it’s like there’s a tumbleweed blowing across a desert. I always groan when I realize, the problem is nothing to kill. Our group has to disband and re-form to get out of the RP shard. Would be better to just have one shard type, then no bonus issue at all, and no having to disband and re-form group, which is not a huge deal but annoying.

I’m not going to come here and say what other shards are like, but when I do go on them it’s with a big raid to do some sort of quest so my opinion is biased. Also before 8.3 Nazjatar had been a lot more quiet with the release of Classic, but since 8.3 has arrived wpvp has gone back to pre-Classic release levels where you litterally feel like for every one Horde is ten Alliance.

I’ve had to turn warmode off now just because it’s irritating to constantly get ganked over and over again by the sheer volume of Alliance players. WPVP isn’t a fair way to play PVP, but it’s like facing the zerg solo and thats not really fun. On top of that the Xuen buffs that can one to three shot you on a ten minute cooldown. :grimacing:

Ye, I have not been on an RP WM shard for a while, and ye each shard can be different. I’ll do my part and try to stay off RP WM shards! I do that anyway tho!

if an alliance player is not in a group then it is almost guaranteed that they will be outnumbered unless they managed to get into a shard where someone else has made a group, even then, that group cannot be everywhere.

Thus, the alliance are in a rather critical state with most members only pvping for the supply boxes for free conquest loot.

Not on RP shards which is what this OP plays on, it’s the other way around but the Alliance gets the bonus too.

That is a lie and you know it

No it’s not a lie at all. Why not read some of the threads on the War Mode and World PVP forum and you’ll hear many others stating the same thing.

This is why you create a party, a “horde” if you will.
