Why there is no mythic gear in delves?

I knew this issue would arise, hence my comment about it a few weeks ago:

What do you guys think of the seasonality of delves? I really hope that it will not detract from the initial goal of that feature. Because it replaces the PvP track in the vault and the seasonality of them is already being hyped up a bit, I am a bit worried that completing the highest level might result in a mythic quality item in the vault. And so as time goes on, the feature will be more adapted to the minmaxers and balanced with them in mind as well, e.g the most optimal 3-man combo will be…
