I’m finding it hard to stay alive with heirlooms, other items scale much higher then heirlooms so what the point in using them apart from more exp which isn’t more when you struggling to quest.
Oh are the heirlook upgrades now available? How is the ilvl scaling with them in 111 upwards going, if you dont mind briefly telling?
Theres a lil surprise for you ingame back on topic they came with 8.1.5 and they are cheaper then expected (still pricey but better) they scaling seems a lil low especially after 116 (which was a struggle anyways after legies died) but the XP gain is always helpful.
Heirlook ? its that a new loom for hair that gives you extra 10% XP for fabulous locks of hair
Thanks, i just saw it when i did flash log in to send some rep missions and it was nice surprice Will reply tomorrow, today was in such hurry, just about to log out from forums too to prep some tomorrow work plus having guests over.
Thanks also for heirloom info, as altoholic i nowadays tend to run islands after 115 so extra xp is nice and since no new quest rewards from that action then heirlooms will do just fine there (last alt i got to 120 dinged on ilvl 225 i think…). I guess i have to go heirloom upgrade shopping tomorrow!
Oh heirlook is that look when you dinged 120 with heirlooms and then get titanforged massive looking boots from Ivus that just break the original transmog but look so nice you don’t want to change them.
the scaling is poor like questing with grey items the xp sure is nice but if u can live with 30k hp most things 2 shot you.
timewalking is pretty nice with them + that 10% flask thingy.
I preferred leveling with heirlooms. It was way quicker and i did not have to worry about all those confusing azerite traits. The secondary stats and XP bonus more than made it up for me. I prefer them to azerite. xD
yes the stats on them are weaker than blues of the relevant level but I don’t have any issues with that as i level (and i level a lot). Damage might be less but tbh you shouldn’t struggle at any level or spec with heirlooms. The 50% xp buff is huge and all i tend to do is keep the gear i get in instances for when i ding 120.
The only quests I do are to obtain the first azerite armor piece and necklace. Don’t touch the rest anymore. Purely level through Island expeditions and dungeons.
Keep doing expedition until a dungeon pops. But becareful, don’t queue for an Island expedition whilst you are about to enter a dungeon.
When the dungeon ends the island expedition can bug out. Resulting in a deserter debuff.
Or you could do as me? take off the Loomz while doing the quest, quickly put them on before you turn in quests, easy, xD or do Islands, I really don’t see the issue here…
I’ve not got round to upgrading any of mine yet but the next character I level I will be doing it. The XP gain is just not worth losing for me
Take it on and off? thats what I do
So we can level alts faster! Why do we want to level alts faster? So we can level more alts!!
But but heritage!!!
Because it takes 15-30 minutes to level up with timewalking, and they scale great in time walking ( was top dps all the time )
45% ( without ring ), 5% from red gem, 10% from potion and ( don’t know if worksinside dungeos ) 10% from warmode, I was getting 455500 xp just from the dungeon finish reward.
Wait someone actually thinks heirlooms are good? They are here only for the XP, no other reason …
Heirloom must scale a bit because stats must fit for level, especially stamina. I think low scaling for heirlooms is to make twink life harder and you need to complete whole set to be good twink instead of right clicking looms.
They can also be good in general. Since they are boa, you can freely move them around and add various kind of enanchement that otherwise wouldn’t have worked.
To name one, you can enchant the bow with the incendiary ammo and mail it to your lv1 hunters. The ammo have no ilvl requirements and do not scale with ilvl, resulting in basically oneshotting everything on low levels and pumping out much bigger dps than the average guy.
Man you just gave me big qol advice Thank You!
Someone in a full set of looms isn’t a Twink, it’s a leveller.
