Why weather effects only in SW and ORG?

Not that im not happy about it,i just wish we get old weather options with slider and dynamic day/night cycle. What about Ironforge snow and other azeroth zones ?

This would be good.
Personally I’d have them turned pretty low, I don’t like how they obscure my sight. I’d also like to turn off Night, some BFA zone were very dark at night (some were quite dark during the day).
But I wouldn’t wish to have these removed from others who enjoy these.

Hopefully they are just the test areas to begin with and will be rolled out across the world zones completely.

Im opposite of that,i like and miss heavy rain in darkshore or sand storm in tanaris, heavy snow in ironforge.Would max it out and it makes it feel cozy and way better to feel the zone vibe.

How on earth would that work? Have you been in ironforge?

outside of ironforge ofcourse

Ironforge snow is it?

Ironforge is underground…

Anyway, I agree. They should update the ā€œblankā€ or ā€œstandardā€ sky system. That’s the best way to fix this by far.

EDIT: Outside Ironforge is Dun Morogh and it has snow.

On this topic but different subject I kinda miss the weather… too much time spent in the shadowlands where there is only one weather for each zone  bummer.

having thunders in the very city that called thunder bluff yes please!

I hate games where the day and night toggles constantly through out the day so I do hope we keep the same cycle as it is now. However I would love to see darker nights as an optional extra.

And yes the weather effects shoudl be everywhere. Maybe they’ll expand on it. Possibly even seasonal weather in the capitals.

I’ve had different weather on plenty of other locations, theres even some places where you can catch certain pets that only spawns during a certain weather.

I would love to have a freaking night at all in bastion for once >proceeds to get a new bunch of inky potions from the bank<

Yeah Bastion is a big reason I hope we never get those over zealous day/night cycles. Nothing worse than being in big bright Bastion late at night.

Sounds like a feature test in the most populated zone of the old world.

I hope they’ll keep working on the weather & skyboxes for the entire continent. The updated skyboxes were a BFA addition iirc so they are perhaps slowly pushing this forward… Or it may just be a fluke who knows ?

What do you mean? There was a pretty big weather effect on Darnassus and look what happened

I’d rather get some new transmogs instead of weather tbh

Zoning into Bastion, Empyrean Domain and Spires of Ascension always feels like you get flashed and need a moment to have your eyes adjust at night.

Well, i’m not fully opposed to firestorms as a weather effect. A forrest fire here and there has never hurt anyone.

I do miss just have a darker night as at least an option in the game. Weather effects besides the occasional rainfall would also be a nice addition.

Blizzard wants people to only gather in the faction capitals.

Really feels like it. In BfA we had portal in Boralus that went to IF so i still used IF in bfa. Always preferred IF. Now its only portal to SW so i end up using SW (cause i’m also lazy).

But that’s the whole idea of weather. It makes the world feel more alive and yeah like irl, it’s not always ā€˜covenient’.
