Wierd connection problems to all Blizzard services - everything else works perfectly fine

Hi,

I am at the end of my knowledge… I’ve tried everything I’ve found online, everything I know myself from my training as a networking specialist, but this problem makes me pull out my hair.

For a while now, I have had connection issues with any and every Blizzard service… from Battle.net to Diablo 4, the connection just randomly stops and then maybe works for about 30 secs until it just stops again… around the 4th time or so, it won’t work ever again until I restart the service.

It is important to say that the Chat still works in WoW during these connection errors, so I am connected but can’t cast spells, no one else is moving etc. The world ping spikes into infinity

It appered around 2 weeks after we swapped ISP and router… so I don’t suspect it to be anything with that because it worked in the beginning.

I did everything proposed by other posts and nothing worked… so maybe someone had a similir situation to this one and has a clue… in the meantime I’ll just play with my phone as a hotspot - this works perfectly fine.

Cheers

I’ve been having the exact same issue as you describe. I made a post detailing my WinTMR, but can’t really decipher it since I’m no network engineer.

Are you with Virgin Media by chance? Might be an ISP issue if so because that’s who I’m currently with. Either that or Blizzard’s services to a certain region are going through something.

O2 Germany, which uses the network of Vodafone Germany
