Randomly tag into AV, more than 10 alliance AFK to farm honor.
Can we do something about AFK players in AV ? reports do nothing. As long as we leave those player the ability to AFK in bgs, we will never have okayish AV. Always the same crap for both faction.
Can’t one blizzard employee log on, try to tag alterac for 3 hours and see for himself ?
ppl are so used to this situation they just accept it and more join the AFK team ‘’ Get your rep and/or honor, why bother everyone is afk’’.
You can’t be okay with this.

Waiting for the ban wave. Anyway they only care about money now so unless it effects the bottom line they may ignore it.

These aren’t bots they are AFK players.
I suggest to make ppl who are reported as afk to be obliged into PvP combat in a set amount of time (1min-2min) for example or be kicked out, so they can’t sit in cave or ghost walk
Go around the leveling zones. Also afking and leaching in battle grounds is not good.
What have bots in leveling zones got to do with AFKers in alterac valley?
Same thing. Leeches. No matter if you are AFKing in AV or using a bot to level you are leeching.

Just reduce afk kick time to 1 minute or something.
Its better to afk then play with bad players. Can we ban paladins that dont dispell me from frost nova and rather run away ? 
For me the breaking point, was seeing players running against the pillars/walls right at the begining of the Av entrance and all other players passing by them and dont even care.
There is no rule saying you can’t watch Netflix and use space bar to jump once in a while during AV.
This is already in the game!
You can’t really do anything against afk-ers.
If half of the team is afk then it doesn’t make any difference if you kick a few since until all of them are replaced you’ll lose the game anyway. And you can’t be sure that the replacement won’t afk (especially if they have entered an already lost game).
Instant kick by voting also won’t work because it’s easy to abuse it: a premade could vote-kick all pug players or if you wanna defend DB all who wanna lose fast kick you out, etc.
The only reliable way is to gather afk reports for few months and if it shows a clear tendency (frequently reported at different times by different players) then ban the account.
Since Activision is obviously abandoned classic it won’t happen any time soon (ie. ever).
If there was no rule about it there would not be a REPORT function for that.

Not necessarily, it depends on how they set up their filters and where they draw the limit.
But this is purely theoretical since they won’t ban anyone for afk-ing.
3 options :
A / You gonna learn how to live with or ignore such players
B / Unsub, then Blizz finally asks you, whats wrong :]
C / Join them. Find a cozy tv show and rank like a pro.

There were always some bot, even during vanilla time. But this amount is crazy, it makes the bg unplayable
