Will casuals players clear the entirety of Naxxramas?

Sry bro but u wrote bunch of crap
(

Just wait and see how it’ll go. Oh, and nice effort to actually reply. I can see you understand how to converse with other people.

You are heavily overestimating this fight. If you use 8 tanks, there is a lot of room for mistakes to happen. And 16 healers lol, noone uses that. If you had 16 healers you could have 3 and healers per tank at all times, but a single healer can keep a tank alive, so thats overkill.
Healers doesnt have that much room for mistake, but the only thing that really can be a danger to healers are blumeaux void zones. And they are easy to avoid if they arent bugged

Meteor cannot kill 5men if they stack up.
The debuffs are very easy to handle.

If you use fire prot pots clever, you can completely negate the danger of when a mark + a meteor happen at the same time.

Yeah no casuals did that. Even hardcore guilds on my server used more than 3h. Casual guilds are wiping on Firemaw / surpression room / Vael.

So OP, a better measure than ambigous terms like casual is whether you cleared BWL week 1. If so, you may well clear Naxx; if not, I highly doubt it.

Probably gonna be easier than expected tbh, pservers were turned to 11 and in actual vanilla they didn’t have the 15 years of information we have now.

My pug 1 shot all bosses except Firemaw 1st day and most ppl never did it before so sounds like a your server problem then.

Have might have been a strong word, but I’d rather use 4T3 with better optimized trinkets then nat’s to get the hit required.

I still stand by that 4HM is going to break a majority of guilds that try it.

Nah, half the Horde guilds logging BWL and a third of the Alliance ones didn’t clear BWL week 1.

Four Horsemen is complicated at first because you gotta learn the actual movements, but once you do it’s a simple and predictable fight with next to no RNG to worry about. Thaddius, on the other hand, requires much faster reflexes, and if you’re even 1-2 seconds too slow to switch places when needed, you can end up causing a wipe single-handedly.

In short, I expect 4HM to take longer to learn at first, but once on farm I’d expect Thaddius to be trickier.

Well there is one more factor that might make people try harder for Naxx this time around, you don’t have TBC 4 months away making naxx feel obsolete, that might help more people push for naxx clears even at a semi casual level.

Time will tell I guess.

Maybe not 4 months, but I wouldn’t expect more than 9 months to pass before TBC is re-released (or something else happens, but I consider TBC to be the most likely option).

To be honest, if TBC actually gets announced, I will probably keep playing until then but, if not, I dunno if I’d want to hang around after the first 1-2 KT kills.

So they were saying for MC… And for BWL… They even said Classic is hard…

But they stopped with that non-sense… As you/they will stop with this non-sense after we see the full glory of Naxx.

And than it will be “cuz blizz released yada yada yada”…

Classic hard, right?

Whereas some guilds are strugling… No hands Andy is stuggling in LFR… Doesn’t mean its hard.

This also tbh. Even if they do TBC Classic, which is very likely, they will probably leave Classic servers alone and do some form of character clone like on a PTR realm or some other option that leaves Classic intact. And the reason many guilds didn’t try hard at Naxx was because they knew their realm, their char will move on to lvl 70, to new gear and new adventures. Now on the other hand there is a strong incentive to “finish” classic, to kill KT. Many will succeed.
However, killing KT will be a bittersweet achievement, as your guild is all but guaranteed to disintegrate in the following weeks.

The only way casual players are going to see the likes of 4 Horseman, Loethb and Kel is if they pay a guild who has it on farm to let them join.

It would be possible for a casual player to farm the gold required or consumables required to clear Naxx but to expect an entire casual guild to be able to afford it I think is a bit of a stretch.

Most casual guilds will be able to clear most bosses but the ones I mentioned will most likely not go down to a casual guild.

Some ppl still stand by that MC wont be cleared on the 1st week… Its impossible to level and gear up they said…

They just dont spew that non-sense anymore. Wonder why…

To make a long answer short, Naxxramas takes a lot of consumable farming and is a considerable grind. Even back in the day no-life nerds and the really hardcore players who played close to 24/7 struggled to complete it. There’s a considerable amount of hardcore players that will burn out just trying to progress because of the grind. You farm your consumables every week (which takes effort and is a pain) or spend ridiculous amounts of gold, only to die to trash or wipe on something silly.

I’m not saying anything new but anyone from that era is familiar with it being a guild breaker. Just looking at the raid beforehand AQ40 in of itself is going to be a hurdle because that’s when the trash mobs start wiping raids when someone makes a small minor mistake, Naxx bumps it up by a lot.

We might see a well organized, casual guild, eventually - after enough time - clear Naxx but I doubt it’ll be casually puggable unless it’s severely nerfed or enough time passes that Classic in of itself is long since irrelevant and everyone outgears the content.

Comparing MC to Naxx.

I see.

Only 2 slots… But lets, for the sake of argument, say everyone can get their best items at max ilvl for all gear slots… For free… And still the average player wouldnt be able to do a 15 key… Let alone get Cutting Edge.

In retail skill is way more valuable than gear. You need gear, but that is not hard to get if u have skill… On the other hand all the gear in this world wont help you if you are nohands Andy.

Not like in Classic where skill means stand still and press one button.

I don’t think this will be the case there are plenty of players on private servers who cleared Naxx week in week out and still showed up for raids. For guilds that clear it they will still have a reason to raid and that is to complete their bis list and eventually get the sweet loot that KT drops I think eventually players that have everything or close too will lose interest but we are talking months after they clear Naxx and by that point I assume most guilds will be getting ready to play TBC classic.

Nah, just extrapolating from previous stupidity that was thrown around. So far NOTHING is/was hard in Classic. Apart from not falling asleep during raids. That is hard indeed. Acctualy Classic content so far is not easy, its a joke.

And should i remind you classic was supposed to be harder than retail… Or such was the word on the streets… Before August 2019…
