Will it be possible to skip the legendary cloak?

As the headline says…

Is there anything I will need the legendary cloak for, besides the itemlevel? The tooltip shown currently om MMO Champion, only show a cloak with stats, no effects.

The cloak alone is enough to make me not want to play the patch, but I really want to do the raid. Problem is, if it’s too powefull, I can’t raid without it without gimping my team heavily. I am raiding heroic only, no mythic.

I really cannot stand legendary questlines. They give me a really sour taste, so the patch coming closer is already making me feel bad about the next 6 months of the expansion. I know it’s weird.

If you plan to raid i don’t think it’s possible to skip it. The cloak is one of the main item upgrades and the whole corruption system is tied to it. I must admit i am not excited at all about the cloak but since i don’t raid i might just ignore it.

I believe the cloak is indeed necessary for raid, as it reduces corruption and gives on use ability.

You’re probably going to want it, unless you seriously want to gimp yourself and the content.

Isn’t it like a 30 minutes questline at max to get without any restriction implied to it?

That’s what I took from it atleast.

Also the back should give big corruption resistance.

I think you’ll want to get it due to it’s effects :frowning:

I am more curious if i have to raid or M+ to GET the cloak, because it’s needed on that solo content and i do want to do that. If getting the cloak requires M+ or raid then i won’t be able to do that solo content, which would be a shame.

“must have completed warcampaign” … ‘snorts’ yes. alts are going to have that cloak as they are going to have essences. Good one.

If you want to equip corrupted items you better don’t skip it. It is a main theme of next patch after all.

I love legendary questlines and i absolutely hate that both MoP cloak and WoD ring ones were removed just because of reasons.

To me getting stuff from cool questline is a lot more fun than getting it from RNG gods like in legion “legendary” items.

And most of the times the questline is not even that long compared to being punching bag of RNG.

As far as I know cloak will be mandatory for pve content but this is just me since I loved collecting legendaries back in Legion I am excited on obtaining this cloak it looks so beautiful for transmog purposes aswel.
