Will the forsaken and night elves get new capitols or get their old ones bacK

My worst fear story wise is that by the end of bfa some stupid thing will happen and suddenly were right back to status quo ante bellum with the forsaken back in undercity and teldrasill or a woo grown replacement for it in the exact same place.

I like the idea of hyjal becoming the new center of the night elves but the forsaken are harder to give a home to maybe stratholme?

Likely neither will happen and they’ll remain homeless races.

If Blizzard could have it their way, they’d delete every racial capital except for Stormwind City and Orgrimmar. It would be much easier for them to handle from a game design perspective, and it makes the game look healthier when you funnel your entire population through one or two areas, instead of allowing them to pick and choose.

Agree with the forsaken above. Blizzard will leave races homeless. Or they will tell just that those races now live in the small cities like Auberdine. In game that city will stay like 1 house. But in some novel they will tell that there are many buildings now. That those cities are now capitals.

Why? Because Blizzard hate Night Elves.
And they are lazy. :crying_cat_face:

Dunno how you can rebuild Teldrassil tbh, and it would depend on the plague/clean up for Lordaeron. But I don’t see how or why the Alliance will give up Lordaeron after finally reclaiming it.

But regardless Nighthaven should become the new Night Elven capital like it was in the past (altho’ I would like the Night Elves to move away from the typical tree sh*te and more diverse for the mages) and for the Forsaken they could always have some event to take and live in Deatholme. They can be with their lovely Blood Elven friends.

Teldrassil is just a tree on the island. There were 3 cities on that tree. Darnassus was a capital city.
They can remove aches of a tree, and rebuild Darnassus on that island.

Druids in Legion, druids of D.E.H.T.A, Night Elves of the Alliance . . . all of them have Darnassus banner, just in different colors.
Let’s guess what Blizzard will decide to do? To give new banners to all of those factions, or to rebuild Darnassus?

Hyjal is a little bit tricky, since its close proximity to org, but then again Nordlassil is there.
And if the leak is anything to go by, Ek = Alliance and Kalimdor = Horde.
When bfa is ending, kinda screws the NE hyjal plans, as well as the Strath undead city.

  • if any new cities are built, then they need to reflect that Race.
and not human or orc settlements.

i can’t stand those god damn mud huts.
a forsaken city should look similar to, Cata Brill / Vengeance landing and Cata Tarren mill all combined in some sort, with some guard towers / ramparts and a moat. The moat obviously filled with goo.

These assets are already in game, so it wouldn’t take much.

To be fair i think we will see the new Forsaken Capital in the Lordaeron Highlands. Especially since there’s rumors that Dragon Islands will come this expansion and those are located off the coast in the currently unexisting Lordaeron Highlands(Its behind Stratholme so perhaps Stratholme might be reasonable as a capital).

As for the Nightelves they probably will end up resettling around Nordrassil in Hyjal, whould be strange if they did not tbh. Nordrassil did afterall recieve the blessings from the Dragonflights during cataclysm and the well’s located there.

I hate too.

Lordaeron will be in scarlet hands sorry.

where is belongs!

Knowing Blizzard, they will remain homeless forever. An interesting narrative would be the reconstruction of some place to be, but it’s unlikely. Maybe at least an excuse to update Silvermoon/Exodar with some kind of Night elf/Forsaken neighborhood (not that I want a forsaken neighborhood in Silvermoon… Nor that the Night elf would go really well with a spaceship.)

Nordrassil. Not Teldrassil.

Only Night elves carry that tree around. The neutral Druid organisations carry the one that represents the true World Tree.

Just look at the burnt out husk which is Teldrassil and tell me again which parts of it can just be taken off.

Dunno’, but half of what you just said aren’t even Alliance, they are neutral sadly. And if Teldrassil being burnt down, Darkshore and Ashenvale being bombarded with blight and mass deforestation doesn’t get them to do anything (along with the death of their family and friends in them places) then I highly doubt anything will get them to budge.

Half expecting us to give up Ashenvale for “gameplay balance”, it wouldn’t surprise me if they all join the Horde at this point xd.

Whatever they do, I just hope they get rid of the Night Elf refugees all over Stormwind. Nothing against the camp behind the dwarf district, but having the Stormwind Cathedral as some kind of emergency care center permanently and not being able to toss a stone in SW without hitting some refugee groups is getting annoying…

I have a great Idea. Why they doesn’t get allwyn forest for their new town/city. It will replace Goldshire, but you can still reach it by speaking with Zidormi.

What about Duskwood, around the Twilight Grove?

But then you can’t replace Goldshire :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Who would want it to be replaced anyway ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)?

The entire town must be purged!

Your best hope is them getting a district in sw or oggrimar/azhara

I’m not sure I agree, really, new homes is a big thing amongst the fans, judging by the coutnless topics that keep coming up, and blizzard can always build new ones.

The lazy option is to just use existing cities.

Forsaken move to Ice Crown and the citadel is their new home. Night elves move into Suramar and share with the nighborne.

Void elves and high elves move into Quel’thalas, and share with the Blood elves… it is much easier than building new cities. Write a new story that ensures they share… get some inter elf stuff going on.
