Will there be a leveling patch?

There is a major problem that is actually bugging me right now, and I feel this really needs fixing.

On my third toon (my goal is to get all classes to 70) you can face-roll everything until you start to reach endgame content which in the end, you don´t know how to play the game or know anything about your class. the game has to be a challenge from level 1 to 70 so that the player can feel some sort of brain growth.

The upcoming Ai dungeons will make matters worse since they will be popular with anxious players, and they will end up not knowing how to be a team player. just tab something and your Ai does the rest while you face roll to victory.

Extra note: please put good armour and weapons on NPC sellers, they just stand there with nothing decent to buy, just for you to sell your junk.

Make WoW an RPG game!

This topic is opened every week. I also made a post about it in a more abstract way.

Forum people dont like it. They dont represent the WoW playerbase and are a sample bias.

oh I’m sorry if I knew then I would of posted this there x.x

Do they know how to be a team player with real players?

AI dungeons will greatly improve this game.

A better implementation than useless player housing, which is in fact nothing more than an unsatisfied childhood phantasy likewise “playing house” that doesn’t fit WoW gameplay.

it will improve the game for sure I agree, not denying that just wanted to add that part in to sound smart

other than the Ai thing, levelling needs fixing big time.

The thing is, you can not fix levelling this way. It will only increase “another chore” duration and levelling boost prices, nothing more, nothing less.

it better for the people who want to go slow to understand how class/spec works.

Define “play the game”, if you are talking about proper CC-ing, interrupting etc. no the leveling process will not teach you that. However even though it’s short it’s enough to teach you how to play your spec (if you bother to read your talents and not just copy/paste them from a guide).

Those players were never going to become “team players”. The AI dungeons are for people who do not wish to do group content. I am not for it, nor do I think an MMO should be designed around such players, but it is what it is.

Player housing is pretty much transmog for the enviroment, people want it so they have more stuff to collect, it’s absolutely a better feature than AI dungeon/raid companions. But I don’t thing AI and Housing are designed by the same thing so one does not exclude the other.

If it has AH and a heartstone I would be interested in player housing(just like the garrisons had). But if its just to be there to hang paintings/titles/pets…I don’t care much for that.
So I am all in for the AI dungeons. Finally no more anxiety.Hope they make them untill m+20.

That’s the funny part - Once they downscaled everything, then they realized they went too far and upscaled lower expac gear… but they forgot to upscale vendor gear.
Now TBC or Wotlk drops items level 100-109 (Roughly) but vendors in the appropriate expac zones will still sell gear ranging from 29 to 37 or something - only transmogs can be of any value off vendors but what is the point of those 30 ilvl rings or trinkets that are absolutely worthless stat-wise?

Translation:

“Please make the game harder because I think I am better then anyone else and they are all lazzy and need to be taught some hard love lesson. But also dont actually make the game harder, make it more like classic, easier but where everything takes too long so I can feel more accomplished when leveling by wasting more of my time, if you make the game actually hard I will cry and quit to go back to OSRS, thanks blizz!”

Dude ,

If you want challenge and quiet frankly a time waste - play classic hardcore or classic.

No one is holding a gat to your head and saying to play retail.

There is challenge where you and when you want it in retail, and it’s good that challenge isn’t creeping itself on you.

What’s wrong with it? Game has to have some challenges for skilled players. The problem is, if you put some meaningful rewards there, forums will be flooded by tears of working 35yo dads and moms with kids saying: “I’m paying same amount of money for this game, I don’t have so much time to invest into the game, why does this tryhard has something that I can’t get? Remove this and give it to me with zero effort! Me pay money!”

Always love to see this sentence in World of Warcraft forums.

I hope they also introduce half and full AI raid teams on all difficulties. So the community can get rid of toxic raiders/ raiding guilds once and for all.

I whoheartedly agree.:innocent:

I personally would love a hardcore toggle when creating a new char. Not truly in the sense that your char would be deleted if you died but rather a permanent x% more damage taken and x% less damage done to mobs in the open world, until you reach lvl 70, after which your normalize. Also no heirlooms can be equipped when you have this buff and Qing for dungeons can only be done with other similar players.

Could award a nice class set when you reach max level on that char, or a class mount. That way you’re encouraged to at least do it on every class.

My 2 coppers.

This. I like.

what about that fact that the population of cows in the united states is 94.4 million, and the population of new york is roughly 20 million. Therefore if cows decided to invade NYC, each man, woman and child would have to fight 4 to 5 cows…

It’s probably only an issue for new players. Most of us know how to play all the classes by now and can adapt to any changes relatively fast. New players have it bad, no matter what they do, if there isn’t a patient person to hold their hand the majority of the way.

Being a team player is a life skill, just trying out dungeons etc with AI first isn’t going to stop that. It works well in FFXIV, it actually gave me courage to tank because I knew the tactics first. It also helps they are a lot friendlier to newbies there, you try it in WoW you’ll get toxicity unless you’re with a nice bunch of friends/guild.

Please dont hang your pets, they are innocent
