The “Wall of no” guy was Keg and he didn’t care whether Classic was a success or not, he simply didn’t want resources to be diverted from WoW on to a different project resulting in less quality on the live game.
…Well, we got Classic and retail went down the drain. Granted: retail was screwed long before Classic was a thing.

Still Classic Cataclysm will have transmog because it’s the expansion when it was added

Pro tips : it does unless they add a on/off transmog toggle.
Cata onwards is not Classic The general feeling is that Classic ends with the Sundering.

I must say no. In classic someone’s appearance is reflective of their power level.
As much as I would love to transmog my Corrupted Ashbringer and T3, I think it would be a wrong decision to add transmog in classic.
