Will we have the option to move into Classic TBC later on?

Hello everyone,

I have a question about the upcomming Classic TBC.For those who would like to remain in Classic Vanilla, will there be an option for them to move later on in TBC? For example after a month or 2 after TBC launch

Yes but it will cost you money and your character will have the gear and gold it had on the day the snapshot was made, I assume that will be when the prepatch hits.

I am mainly asking because i would like to finish my ranking 1st.I am aiming for R13 atleast because i would love to have the “Warlord” title

If you don’t have that on the day of the prepatch you will never have it. Since the snapshot for the clone will be taken on prepatch launch, its no use to farm your rank if you want to use it in tbcc.

Blizzard have not said if you can use a transfer from Classic Forever realms or use the copy to go back to TBCC realms. You would not be able to use the warlord title on the character anyway as what happens in classic forever stays in classic forever.

I’m not sure if you can use a the copy if you have moved to a Classic forever realm.

This part in the article I linked makes me think you will be able to

“This means that if you continue to play your WoW Classic character for some months after and unlock the clone at a later date, it will not include any additional progress past the point of the original capture of your character.”
