Will you be playing WoW in 2044?

You plan to stay then, too wild for me I need Finland or some other non tropical country to live in to feel at home, Im just smiling thinking listening one night in bangkok now :joy:

What I’m trying to say Vicktor, is that I don’t understand what you’re writing. You’re writing in riddles or implied meaning or…You’ve lost me.

But nice chat. :upside_down_face: :+1:

Riddles were the best part of old rpgs!

Or point&clicks!

To back up you’re saying I’m close-minded and also arrogant because I expect to be playing WoW in 20 years.

For me life just sends me stuff and I accept it. If I was close-minded I’d just reject it immediately and say it was stupid. Since I’m not I give it a bash and see where it takes me.

But you’ve just said that it’ll take you to WoW, because you’ll be playing it in 20 years.
Isn’t that being close-minded about the way life may unfold over the next 20 years, if you can sit here now and say that in 20 years you’ll still be sitting here?

Well I don’t deal in absolutes, I may die in the next 20 years.

As I said the music stuff wasn’t the only stuff I was sent. If I don’t have tons of time to play WoW 20 years from now, I made an unforgivable error between now and then.

ive been to sweden twice this year.
best time of my life

if i continue to play this game into my 40s id be disappointed with myself

theres soo much out there, so much exploring to do

Oh well, if played the game from 2005 vanil like I have might aswell see where it ends at this point :joy:

you are probably younger than me, so that might be fine
im more excited about not playing wow recently

Summer 2025 will be here before we know it !

Nah, sadly not. If you scroll bit you see my age :joy:

Im 40, so Im 7 years forward for you from here and Im in were you said you would be dissapointed if you still played wow so I replied that if played the game soon 20 years now since 2005 I rather see it to the end at this point :joy:

If I’m alive by that time… Maybe. :stuck_out_tongue:

The game is getting harder with every expansion, at the rate I’m aging and slowing down, I’ll only be able to keep up with transmog runs. Sounds like a fun retirement plan though.

I will be 73 years old by then, or 6 foot under so i doubt it. However, I will continue playing as long as i am able to…

sorry i didnt see your age till now,

maybe we were supposed to have this conversation, maybe its fate
if you believe in such a thing

personally for me, since I’ve distanced myself from the game more each year, each season. my life has improved.
I’m on the forums more now than in the game

i want to hope by the time i turn 40 ill be ā€œcleanā€

Same, as we have been diminished to these soloqs which all have 30min ques to get in. Its terrible the state of pvp we now have to endure since dragonflight :joy:

ive been playing roughly that amount with a kid, with a fulltime job and whilst completing a masters degree.

its a shame i was so hyped for blitz.
but Mistweaver monks ruined it for me, flying around the map

could of been the best experience, but it was terrible first season

i straight up logged out yesterday after waiting 43 minutes in queue and went and played Call of duty instead

It was cool at start with 1-5min ques and the type of random play that one could suspect from 8v8 pugs put together through soloq, but then someones bright idea to put algorithm prevent same specs or making matchmaking more strict made it into 30min ques. The games are still random and theres no difference at all if people got 500mmr difference or not or if theres 3 fury instead 1, its still 8v8 pugs doing random things, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose but now we wait 30min que for it

Having played through many seasons I cant help but wonder how it survived till 2024. There’s no additive content, loot is boring, reskin each season and RaiderIO based job applications dominate the market. WoW is possibly one of the very few successful games where the customization is so restricted people are used to eliminate gameplay with addons to find new wags to play.
It’s a sad state for wow and even more sad for player standards nowadays.
