WoD Gear will be back

I am sure you will figure out a way to get them.

It’s really easy to solve. If you turn warmode one, your gear automatically scales up to it’s pvp-ilvl, which should be around the ilvl you get from high end pve

System works fine as it is , if people want more focuse orienjted gear blizz shoud introduce back Tier sets for PvE and sets bonusess for PvP not go witd duble ilevel system

The progreseion in pvp should be pvp achievments, not 30 ilv differences in lower brackets!

I know the problems related to it, I have 2 alts, my Retri alt could easily catchup and slap his way in a short time to 1.9, my DK suffers more since I play 2v2 and we matchup against 37-40k hp monks, with probably 216 iLvL or something, I have 203 I guess. So I know the struggle people have but all they do is focusing on problems instead of solutions. For me my solution will be playing 3v3 as DK not 2v2, cuz it sucks and changing my covenant 197 gears… blabla. I don’t come here and say “bruuh 1300 monk has 10k more hp than me!!!”…

There are problems yeah, PvP gearing gap can be decreased by increasing Honor Gear iLvL, and decreasing iLvL gap between brackets even if it is 2 iLvL it will feel better for alts and low ones.

The catchup is not good designed.

When u wanna play different chars its very hard.

Renown then gear everything takes so long.

There is always someone complaining that they are bored etc. no matter how good things are. Some people will never be pleased because they have a problem with themselves that needs solving.

Because blizzard trying to please 5k elitist playing 3v3 arena and totally missed the fact that bgs was a big deal like maybe 500k players not 5k. Even 2v2 arena is bigger deal but blizzard doing everything to pls 3v3 players which is weird since is smallest part of the game.

Add gating, achievements obsession, toxicity on top of it and there you go arenas are nothing big its like you say side thing. Maybe its time to change that because i dont think 5k players are big deal at all its nothing.

Like mdi pve races are success? How many viewers they got? I understand pve is even more boring when you just watch it but still numbers are laughable and im calling awc success when you check how many playing arenas seriously and then how many watching awc…imo it means that people are interested in pvp but do not play it. Maybe because lfg, toxicity, they dont have partners etc…but people like wow pvp blizzard imo just need to make it easier to get into it

Well, i understand your opinion, but
Maybe some people want to play 2v2 and not 3v3.

Unless u got
Potential to get gladiator, 2v2 is a better bracket for many people yo strive for duelist.

Also 2v2 is less intensive than 3v3.

Its good thats the solution for you, but not everyone wants that solution!

Gluck in arenas bro!

I didn’t play during WoD, so correct me if I’m wrong/answer my questions :

  • Pvp gear used during pvp instanciated content (bg/arena, rated and random) is upscale to a fixed ilvl ? (so potentially it could beat pve boys ilvl)
  • World pvp used you real ilvl ?
  • Back in WoD wasn’t there something like only one ilvl for all pvp set except for shoulders and weapon when you reached 2.1/2.4 ?
  • Now that we have upgrades 200/207/213/220/226/233(weapon only), would the upscale take into account the upgrades or not ? (making rated gear not mandatory at all, except in world pvp which is not a real thing…)

Most people take a look at live stream, see lets say 30-40k view and think that that is the total view count. There are thousands of people that watch VoDs later on.

I personally try to help newcomers, group with them even on my main, I play with them give suggestions, if I feel that it is starting to get exhausting I just give a few more brief advice, say thanks and wish good luck to them, if they have potential they already improve in a short time.

I met many PvE players this season, their most common phrase “new to PvP”. PvP started to shine and become more popular but these changes have great potential ruin all the progress that has been made till nownow since launch.

Yeah, there are alot of people that prefer 2s to 3s because it is easier and more simple, I am amongst them despite having glad potential I don’t like 3v3, had a rank1 healer that sits in 1k 3v3 cr a few days ago, 2v2 only. So yeah, people prefer 2s to 3s, when I attempted to find a team on this character, even I struggled to join groups on 3v3, if the guy is 30 cr above you he doesn’t want you or if you have 1.9 exp, the guy is 2020, he thinks he is a god compared to you, 3v3 lfg is much worse than 2v2 basically.

Same! Gonna try to reach elite today and tomorrow, gonna need it, just 5-6 more wins…without losing…

Yea, you turn into scrub out of PvP. You will have an iron sword during PvP, it will turn to plastic in PvE. Since most people can’t be bothered to acquire 2 seperate sets for PvE and PvP naturally participation exchange will drop down significantly from both sides… which means lower chance to meet new people, less m+, raid and pvp groups on LfG since PvE and PvP players won’t participate in a useless activity, PvP gear will suck at PvE, PvE gear won’t be the best for PvP, both side’s players won’t bother.

If warmode scales PvP gear up still there are problems, PvP players who hate world pvp and play the game wm off will turn into clown this time without scaling.

This system is the worst thing they can come up with, it will cause dozens of new problems.

Well pve is 95% of playerbase and pvp 5% and yet views are the same. My point is that people are interessted in pvp in wow just not playing it.

I love you, Gekko

They started to play it, this change will take those people away. PvP is a bit more stressful but really rewarding.

You play against real people, you know when you kill them at least half of them get frustrated so it is fun. Arena is much more dynamic compared to PvE, people preferred PvE until now because of better rewards, of course I won’t deny there are its own hardcore fans too but the reason why PvE participation is higher compared PvP has always been better rewards via PvE, the gap could’ve been smaller.

Yes, PvP is more interesting since it isn’t rigged.

That was a bit unexpected love confession but I’ll take it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

  • There was max ilevel for PvE items in PvP, any item abowe that ilevel woud be scale down , only PvP items were exeptions so fully PvP person was like 15 ilevel abowe PvE one

  • was using real one so it mean lover ilevel for PvP , but courently it woud works with WM on or off

  • there was 1 ilevel fore all pvp items you bought for conquest only was extra ilevel for weaponds, only think that you ration was doing is increace you weekly conquest cap

  • it woud probalby take upgrade in to it with ilevel cap beeing 200 and extra ilevels for PvP items only

Main problem for WoD system is that this system only works when PvE and PvP have no real interaction with eachother like in WoD, but cos Great Vault, gems upgrades and legendarys exist that is not a thing for SL

Gems are non issue in maw it doesnt matter what gear you have. Lgendaries? Just put leggos from raids to vendor for cq - ez. Great vault? Well i think 3 options are enough again non issue. Maybe let people choose 2 rewards from vault 1 from pvp and 1 for pve if you separate gear.

right… sod off
