After reading your post I thought i’d give it a try. I’m still getting 1000ms+ right now
Using a VPN or a service such as WTFast solves the issue, so it’s definitely a routing problem. Not sure if this is something that can be addressed by blizzard though.
Had the same imrpovements as you. Was able to do raids & dungeons. Same problems came back again though around 9:00 server time.
it was ok during the weekend with an average ping of around 220-240, no lag how it always was for me, now today I’m getting 1k+ ping again and my game is unplayable. JUST AS I RESUBSCRIBED>>>?
Still have latency issues. It most likely is some routing issue.
I just tried out exitlag and it did bring my latency down.
It could be a temp. solution if you really want to play.
Good Luck.
hello, for me its fixed, didn’t do anything, totally its the routing issue, maybe the route i was on got fixed, my route was Philippines > Singapore > Frankfurt / Saint Denis one of those 2
- Ukraine
- Kyivstar
- The name of your server - DF (Howling Fjord
- Since 3.05.24 - after connection all is good, ping is 20-40 ms and green. After 3-10 minutes it goes red - 1000+ and in the end 4000-5000+ . After that i got disconected, re-login and have same situation every time. Game is absolutely unplayable. Everything was good 1-2 weeks ago.
Not fixed for me either.
Same issues.
Still having connection issues. Seems okay at random times but at 5:00 server time back to big issues (1000-10000 world ms) & unplayable. Here’s the full info. Hope Blizzard sees & checks it out. Have tried all the fixes on my end but no luck.

Sorry if I formatted it badly. I had to add spaces after .net & .com parts, don’t know how else to be able to post it. I’s my 3rd time ever. Hope this helps Blizzard more to let us know the problem & advise a solution because I can’t keep paying a subscription for a game I can’t play.
Still experiencing 700~20000+ ping from Tokyo to EU.
250~ would be normal ping.
I knew Blizzard incompetence was high, but this is just ridiculous.
Game has been unplayable for nearly a month now. Refund please?
update: 3 weeks! congrats
Same here but from Okinawa to EU. I cancelled my sub until its fixed. No point in paying/playing if you cant even pick up a quest without being kicked out.
I’m sorry, but why i can play normal on 250 stable ping for some time and then get the ping of 1400+ that makes my game unplayable for that time. Why do I get an increase I simply don’t get it? It’s been a month already…
When will this issue be resolved blizzard?
At this point i’ve completely lost any hope of this issue getting resolved.
Subscription cancelled until i either see a blue response in this topic or someone actually proving that the issue is fixed long term, im not going to pay for a game i cannot play.
It has been mentioned 200 times over that its not on the players side nor is it fixable by the player, we need actual tech support to look over this issue.
I highly suggest for someone to re-create this exact topic again maybe i was right about their disgusting dumb system, it seems like blue responded in couple of topics recently but not in ours.
They are in shortage of employees, i don’t blame them, the company went into new management, instead of having pro-active blue for tech support forum, they only allocate very few resourses, they are focused more on developing than fixing the current content / problems.
i started to have high ms again?! my happiness lasted only 2 days, today i have over 8k MS world, The peering partner of Blizzard who they have contract with sucks. The route has so much package lose that if i was them i would escalate the situation ASAP to them and fix.
WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED IM PLAYING NORMAL ON 250 PING THEN IT JUMPS ON 670+ and its unplayable until its 250 again ( sometimes takes hours to get back to normal )???
all i want to is to play the game, I mean it’s super tilting when you pvp and someone starts teleporting and you end up dead…
I’ve had the same problem for days. I enabled IPv6 from the network settings and it slowly fixed the ms problem. After that I have not encountered it again.
Hopefully this helps someone else.
