Same here, I am from Croatia, never ever had issue, but last 4 days I’ve been getting random spikes, often after instance load or when loading into game, it seems like loading or phasing triggers massive lagg.
And my MS rockets to 6k, and often I just disconnect after 30 sec/1 min.
As said, never faced this issue before, it kept happening last 4,5 days randomly.
And everything else works perfectly.

Unfortunely, still with problems, in Draenor server. I can’t tank, because it’ll be a dissaster for everyone. Already messed up days ago
Having same problems too. Can’t raid or do dungeons. Worl & Home MS sit at around 250-400 with FPS at 50-60. Getting random spikes throughout the day (Mostly on World MS).
Only able to do old content solo but with latency & delay issues. Does anyone else get a random freeze for 5 secs? This one is new.
When i join a group with my friends, like for example superbloom, on my screen it still shows the fight going on , but on my friend screen the fight ended 1-2 mins ago. Its like i’m playing on a recap. How is that even possible bro.

Day 31 of asking to fix the lag issue? I hate doing this but I promise I’ll do it every day until the issue is resolved.

Update: 26 days that the game is unplayable. 22 days that Blizzard commented on this thread.
Tried 2 different ISP, wifi, ethernet, 2 different 4G and tried every fix you can imagine as mentioned already. This is clearly not an issue on player side. It is probably not 100% Blizzard also. Seems to be related to the routes taken and passing by a lot of partners failing nodes (godaddy(dot)com comes to mind). In any case Blizzard seems to not give a pip about this and I believe writing here or opening a ticket is beyond useless.

yes, its from the route, i keep telling them to check with the peering partner but they totally ignore me.
If it’s still like this for MOP remix I’m sorry to say I might just quit all together. Been looking forward to it since yhe announcement. Would be a real bummer if I can’t fully play it.

Same on every server EU wide. Had this exakt problem in 2021. And we didnt recieve any info on what was causing it back then either and probably wont this time either.
Just be patient and it will be fixed within a few years hue hue
I could easy try to help out Blizzard to figure what is the issue with this problem but they never want to communicate, i told them to try check for the route PH>SG>Saint Denis (France) who is the peering provider they have contract with (i just need the name) if they don’t want to escalate the situation to them i can do that for them. They only need to provide me the info. Most of the connections from Asia are linked via Singapore so at least we can figure it out the problem.
They legit need to hire more people, company is totally a mess when it comes to tech support. I really wonder if the management actually knows the real situation and if they simply decide to ignore it or focus the resources to something else.
This is not woking in sweden still. My ISP have confirmed that its not on their side. At this point Im at 10415 ms world.
So I just recently started experience this. Yesterday to be exact.
I can have HUGE lag spikes with 1000-15000 ms on world but 20 ms on home.
Meanwhile I had this issue I had a ping -t on google and the response time to google does not increase while I lag on WoW.
I have tried 3 different connections, 3 different ISP:
- My home network
- VPN through a different client that goes through different local routing than my home network.
- Cellular with my phone
The different connections on PCs are running through different local routing servers provided by the owners of the local fiber provider.
This problem is completely sporadically. Sometimes it works fine, other times it’s completely unplayable. Some people have it others don’t. The tracert below is from me having the problem currently.

The .159 is just a complete waste of time to post since it has never worked to run a tracert on. It fails on people having the problem and for people who don’t have the problem. From the tracert there is no increased response time, a packet can be dropped that is no big deal really.
Something I just noticed, on US bnet the tracert support page includes .157 and .158 for Europe but not the .159. The .159 only appears on the EU page. So maybe that server is removed.
Don’t know if my ISP can solve this but I have contacted them.
Have the same issue on Argent-Dawn EU. Up to 6k MS. Speedtest states that I have 500/500 mb with 5 ping to Stockholm.
I tried to reboot router, ethernet.
I tried to IP release, renew and flush DNS.
Nothing solves it. Game is currently unplayable.
I actually fully reinstalled windows and had new cable connections (thicker for data transfer) and I still have issues with this. Fresh windows, my UP/DL is 100/50 so it’s deffo not connection since it was working perfectly 10 days ago.
They really need to hire some tech people to look into it since when you get lagg spike, you can also see world lfg chat perfectly, you can instantly log out etc but you’re stuck in lag input.
As said , randomly when phasing into anything i.e tbc portals, dala portals, random dungeons you suddenly get massive lag. It also happens with multiple accounts online at same time (i.e your 3 accounts work perfectly without 0 lag, but 4th one is experienceding 6k lagg (normally, all should be lagging or none should be lagging).
Deffo an issue atm.

Yet, they still believe its from our ISP’s i donno what they smoke but they need to change the habbit.
Wow, never noticed any issues when playing as the norm, but my word on the last Siege activity 20 minutes ago, it was totally nuts, the lag was horrendous! … something is up …
Ok, I was expecting to try it first and see how things went before write here. Looks like I’ve finally nailed it.
And I wanna share in case this can help you: The answer for me was Nvidia Geforce Experience app and the NVDcontanier.exe that was monitoring and sending data from my pc.
People form the Nvidia community are complaining that this process is using to much resources since last updates. I removed the aplication and dissabled this executables and all goes smooth as before with a max on 80ms.
EDIT____
This worked for a while, but I had lag and freezing issues again.
