How about a compromise solution to AOO unfairness for outnumberer.
A mechanism of some sort is required to help with region balance, but rather than one side getting reward - give each side rewards tailored to the situation. Outnumbered, and outnumberer. Encouraging EXTRA of the outnumbered to WPvP for longer, and encouraging the EXISTING outnumberers to WPvP.
- Change AOO to a quest that requires a week’s worth of WPvP effort - keep the extra Alliance in WM for WPvP through the week. Encourage WM on, but not just temporarily.
- Give Horde compensation - except word it as, they are superior in numbers, therefore get something signifying strength - call it “Overwhelming Odds”. For example, that could be a buff that gives 3% extra stat during WPvP only. Something good and actually useful in WPvP, but not enough to make extra Horde turn WM on, just compensate the existing ones that WPvP.
- Keep bonus, it’s for PvEers that took a risk on WM. A decrease in Horde PvEers via extra Alliance PvP, and an increase in Alliance PvEers via extra bonus, probably almost balances them out.
A. Increases and keeps Alliance in WM.
B. Compensates Horde for Alliance getting AOO, without increasing their numbers.
C. PvEers can balance out via existing bonus.
Reward both factions, but in different equally valuable ways, that still achieve the goal of WM region faction balance.
